I tried to make butter and it just came out as a gooey mess, I said to myself

I can't believe it's not butter

I said I was not going to bother making butter from cream again as messy and hard work. Well I bought some cream and made butter this afternoon. Really easy just doing 300ml of cream but 600ml is tedious. Bear in mind I am whipping the cream by hand not with a food mixer. It does give us some really nice fresh butter.

Good Morning.
I did indeed wash it all off and use bleach. I have to bleach the pavement along the hedge all the time to stop dogs peeing on the hedge, but it is not the dogs it is the owners who stop to let their dogs pee. Curry powder works quite well to repel the dogs.
Anyway! back from weekly shopping and rain has just started.

I love M & S albeit is harsh on the wallet, working from home is great except when it's cold as the company won't help with heating bills!

LOL.

Afternoon chaps. Been for a drive out to Forfar. Looked for a cafe but nothing inspired me and got fed up so just came home again. Does walking around shops count as a walk, certainly not very exciting on one's Birthday.

Anyway, chicken for dinner tonight and coconut cake for afters. Looks really nice out but the wind and cold was getting to me.

I have loads of green coffee beans I can now roast. Also got given a set of 10 3/8" sockets which will be useful to go in the box with my cordless ratchet wrench.
Being given tools always makes me happy.

It really rained hard earlier, the car looks great lol but gutters could not cope on the conservatory and water was flowing down the windows, all calm now though

Around here it is just a few individuals who do not pick up and get all dog owners a bad name.

Storm seems to be coming but not bad yet, just normal autumn wet weather with a bit of wind but heavy rain....20 to 30mph winds. Not sure my fences will survive another storm - they have been repaired so often. I was going to get new panels earlier in the year but never actually did. Could not find the quality I wanted at a sensible price and stocks were low leaving just the rubbish panels.

Watch as little old person bagged up the poo then threw it in the hedge, thirty metres away was a red dog poo bin. Amazing and we think the young are bad.
