14/11/2024 09:44 | Good Morning. How was the Naga? I have kept my in tray empty ready to accept the dehumidifier daily morning report.... the newspaper presses are on hold waiting for the update. | jonjonck
13/11/2024 17:33 | I wouldnt use it for conservatory as the main house seems to be where I get the high readings, I'm orf out for a curry tonight and not driving yippee Lamb Naga coming right up washed down with the odd Cobra (3 or 5 but both are odd numbers) | 2gekko
13/11/2024 15:01 | I would not worry about raising it, the breeze from the fan will circulate the air. Can you put it in the conservatory overnight and still get beauty sleep? | jonjonck
13/11/2024 14:05 | Thanks Jonners, I have raised it to about 18 inches off the floor on a lounge table and see how it goes, it's not noisy as such but I can't leave it on overnight as need my beauty sleep | 2gekko
13/11/2024 09:29 | Good Morning. No gates, damp air is just lighter than dryer air. It will rise until it meets colder less dense air which matches the same weight as the damp air. As the damp air cools it will condense into water vapour. 2G, the air will be drawing moisture from your walls, furniture etc. You need to keep using the humidifier when levels rise and may take quite a few days or even a week before levels stay low. | jonjonck
13/11/2024 08:25 | So as it rises, I assume damp air must be warmer | gateside
13/11/2024 07:51 | Morning I didn't know that, maybe I should put the dehumidifier on the kitchen work top, it does pull water from the air but got up this morning and readings are back at 70, it was off overnight | 2gekko
12/11/2024 21:43 | Did you know damp air is lighter than dry air. I was surprised when I learned this as would have thought damp air is heavier. But it make sense when you think about how clouds form - damp air rises and then condenses in the colder air higher up. Water molecules are lighter than the oxygen and nitrogen molecules they displace. Just some science for you. | jonjonck
12/11/2024 20:39 | I emptied it after three hours and it was about a pint, may need to move it around to establish the best position but its in the hall and my hydrometer in the lounge is saying 58% which is a lot less than last nights readings of over 70% | 2gekko
12/11/2024 19:29 | Mrs J cheated and got the bus back. How much water have you collected so far in the drain tank? | jonjonck
12/11/2024 17:04 | Back from a long walk to Monifieth and back - further than I remember it being... a nice over 8 mile walk. | jonjonck

12/11/2024 12:40 | 2 hours and counting, 4 hours to go to the big switch on. 2g goes out for the evening for a hot curry, comes home to find his house nice and bone dry. Only one issue, it has shrunk 30% in size. | jonjonck
12/11/2024 11:16 | I'm dim and cold, my new toy has arrived but has to stand for six hours before use, I look forward to a drier house | 2gekko
12/11/2024 09:11 | Good morning all bright but cold. | rovi70
12/11/2024 07:48 | Good Morning. | jonjonck
12/11/2024 06:08 | Thanks Rovi, maybe it's my love of hot curry and beer causing excess moisture! | 2gekko
11/11/2024 22:21 | Mmm hope you dry out. | rovi70
11/11/2024 21:22 | Lol, so long as it takes moisture out of the air I don't care what it is | 2gekko
11/11/2024 20:33 | Are you sure it is not a Fire extinguisher you have bought!!! Dry ABC lol | jonjonck
