Much better weather today and even though it's a day off I'm worried about how many vehicles may have got flooded

Yes the drivers were informed the tyres are their Christmas bonus and they were most grateful, well they said now we know how queen Victoria felt so it seems I have made them feel like royalty

Just back from another long walk on the Buddon. Finally done the loop we have been trying to do for weeks. Really interesting route with new scenery and found a memorial for soldiers and marines who died in the Falkland war.
An interesting and very enjoyable long walk. About 6 miles.

I'm pleased to hear that about the all seasons and guess the branch probably knew that being local, I didn't want the hassle of getting them swapped twice a year with winter tyres so I'm happy with how it's turned out, it still about £3,500 though

it's 15 degrees here now but very wet, err the weather not me

In Scotland you will probably get longer overall life as they spend less of their time sliding (creeping) on the road surface and wearing down but gripping instead. Unless you are mainly driving in the dry, all seasons are best.

We just have rain at the mo. Temp is around 5 degrees.

With luck it might miss him as he's near the coast bit of warmth coming off the sea. Lol. Tyre wise always went for the good old French tyre and they do run and last well. Need new in the new year I expect.

A couple of degrees than forecast, so the new snowfall that was predicted is falling as rain.

Have the wood-burner blazing to keep out the chill and the damp. Will be Monday I guess before most of the low level snow has melted.

Daughter's school was closed due to the snow from Wednesday to Friday, which was nice as Thursday was her birthday.

How is my little girl 17 years old. Where do the years go?

Nah I've too much going on already, I opted for Michelin all seasons so they should have a decent wear rate, I think Jonners will see snow soon going from the news

Just light rain for now but a milder nine degrees, thanks to all for advice regards the Scotland weather and after intense negotiations (well, a two minute call) I am fitting all season tyres on five vehicles, they didn't actually want winter tyres as they are not suitable in warmer conditions
