Great news for a couple of reasons. Firstly for the employees given a reprieve. Secondly for shorts it should really speed up the liquidation process and the settling of equity as worthless.

Kavango Resources (KAV LN) 2.0p, Mkt Cap £3.1m – Kavango selects new targets for 1,000m drill campaign

Kavango Resources has signed a contract mobilising a number of drill rigs to test targets in Botswana.

The drill program is for three vertical holes covering 1,000m on the Kalahari Suture Zone ‘KSZ’

The team plan to intersect conductor targets at depths of between 200m and 400m.

To save time and cost, the holes will be pre-collared to approximately 150m with reverse circulation drilling followed by diamond core drilling for better information on the geology below this point.

Management are hoping to find mineralisation in a 10km x 6km magnetic anomaly, which is interpreted as a potential magma chamber.

The other two targets relate to significant linear magnetic and conductive structures.
Water will be trucked in from a local town.

Conclusion: Botswana hides many interesting mineral discoveries under a significant depth of Kalahari desert sand.

Kavango hopes the use of modern remote sensing techniques will help it pinpoint mineralisation in anomalies of significant scale under the sand.

While drilling these targets feels a bit like wildcatting in the oil industry investors can rest assured that target generation is supported by a thorough analysis of the latest data.

Chap I spoke to (IG Index) guessed about one month - not sure he was too clued up.
He mentioned a 'proceeds account' as previously mentioned by Jaknife.
This may be set up very soon.
Here your profit at the time of suspension is put into the proceeds account along with the margin held.
This should be paid out very quickly.
The additional profit = price at suspension down to zero , will be paid out when the IG broker has closed this out to zero.

Above with IG - other may be different.

Mrs Mallorca literally standing by the door now with her suitcase so … Adios.

Nico,

I'm with IG.
I have spoken with them.
Things are frozen at the moment whilst they await confirmation from their broker as to the final TCG equity value (which will be zero).
Once that is confirmed, shorts will be paid and longs will have to pay up.

They are non committal re timescale.

Heading to Mallorca later today.

Dart will prosper. As will TUI who operate their mini national airlines differently from one another. It's all very complicated. Jet2 have a simple but effective business model that works. Their management are fair, they know what they're doing, but can equally be both tough and shrewd. Which TCX weren't. They took their eye off the ball for too long! All those ex TCX customers / passengers still want to travel. Someone will pick up the slack. Jet2 are best places to do so in my opinion. Obviously DYOR but I bought DTG today at 895p. I believe it will be a good investment over 1-2 years. Possibly sooner

Ekuuleus you are correct in that exchange rates affect all travel companies, the vertically integrated ones even more so. Tommy Cook had a fatal debt issue but the passengers still trusted the brand, regrettably. This vulnerable company was at greater risk than others and was helped over the edge by exchange rate collapse directly linked to the EU referendum and therefore the voting decisions of individuals. Just food for thought, thats all.

Does your comment about working families make sense? We all have to cut our cloth, the super rich are a tiny minority but do provide a lot of direct business to aircraft manufacturers, yacht builders and so on.
