Jet2 have been doing pretty well despite Brexit!I have only booked one package holiday in the past five years and that was with Jet2 because it worked out cheaper than a ?IY holiday to the same resort.Otherwise, like an increasingly growing number of people, I book my flights and hotels separately via the cheapest options online and save a lot of money.

Castleford Tiger / jakknife / snorkelparker etc- Thanks for your efforts to try to educate people on here. You probs saved a few from destruction. Well reasoned posts backed up with evidence even to those hostile to u.

leadersoffice.. u should've listened to them instead of putting them on filter

Oilisgold- Hope you live to fight another day.

Sad day for cookie... Should've hung on to Harriet Green a little longer than you did.

"Self harming brexiteers will never admit it nor take responsibility for it either."

Absolute tosh - you're blaming the wrong people. Brexit hasn't been given the chance to work properly and for us to get a proper look at it. The House of Commons is where the ire should be directed.

The two main reasons why Thomas Cook Group has failed is poor management and a shifting change in the way people book their holidays - the business model was unsustainable.

Really sad news here. I once held when the share was around 220 and couldn't believe the recent price. I am really sorry for the workers some of which i know as I worked on the transformation program some years ago. It's also a sad day for so many shareholders who now stand to lose everything. Keep your mental state in tack and try to rebuild from the ashes.

Just goes to show how good management / poor management are the key to running a successful business.

There were indeed many reasons....But Brexit was a drag on it`s business that it could do without. It'll be the same with any that go bust...it won't be totally Brexit`s fault...But here the weak £ and (Brexit) uncertainty didn't help did it?

Self harming brexiteers will never admit it nor take responsibility for it either.

If it was to do with BREXIT, there wouldn't be 150,000 customers currently overseas!! The reason is simple ..the debt pile.

Typical sore loser remainer, picking up on the irrelevant details and not having the ability to look at the bigger picture, bet you lost a fortune here

Well done everyone who voted for it.

If TCG has not paid hundreds of hotels yet re summer bookings, then surely many hotels may go bust too?
I hope the employees/customers are taken care of.

All that uncertainty created by all those loser remainers is what did it here for tcg. Those remainers really should start to take responsibility for their arrogant nieve actions.

Weak £ vs € due to Brexit didn't help.
Digital Britain Act inevitably changing high street shopping habits.
