Yes.
Job done and no enemies except short PIs.
Hedge funds, blackrock etc have already closed their shorts.

The sognals are even more obvious than a punch in the face yet some still can't see it. They should stivmck to current account investing...

1. Heavyweight deal making private equity city chair recently appointed
2. Major shorts closing
3. Declared and non declared interested parties now buying cheap free float
4. Deal drums banging loud in media
5. Fincial update from MM all but saying it
6. Bids being declared opening stalking horses

Yet the stupid flat earthers around here still can't see it

So you think snaffle as many cheap shares at this level then a couple of PE takes out us small frys at a slightly more pleasing level ?

I suspect they will pay top dollar for what’s left after rinsing the market.
That’s Charles’s job.

Id have been happy with long haul but I dont feel the city / market / etc would ever view this maybe as we do. Take it private, but for a good honest price not 2 quid and ill be fine with it. I would hope to see them really succeed down the line though and continue with the genuine good work that is obvious to see

And would explain why the share price is being dropped to let the shorts exit and the big boys buy up as much of the float as they can.

Toansy - agree with all your points!

Gift of a lifetime by the market if anyone bothered to do a little research.

Bought in for the full strategic plan, however we find ourselves where we are now. Give it a few weeks, and one way or another THG will be private, fully consigned myself MM has made his decision, just got to let it play out.!

Nothing goes up in a straight line, it would be too easy. Traders have to be washed out along the way. Only the patient will be rewarded the maximum in the end.

As of 20 October 2021, over 70% of the company's ordinary voting shares were considered by the Company to be in the free float**The free float has been calculated (a) on the basis of shareholder notifications of voting rights communicated to THG as of 20 October 2021 and other information made available to THG by shareholders and (b) by taking the total number of ordinary voting shares in issue less any ordinary voting shares held by THG, its directors (including Matthew Moulding), employees and any persons connected to them.  The free float includes ordinary voting shares held by Sofina as, notwithstanding its existing board representation, it is not made pursuant to any agreement or right to nominate a director.  No ordinary voting shares are subject to lock-up arrangements.

The City Spy Twitter

Talk of #THG #TheHutGroup IIs & funds go private, "buyers" accumulate as much float as possible before paying off remainder with face saving value price. CS 🌴🍺🌞 #RUMOR

PE or two buy up float, major holders fold over, new PE buys out the remainder of the float to take it private. I.e. offer not for whole org, just the float. Everyone else folds.

If they buy up enough of the free float then even if they offer £3-00 their average will be far less .
£ still well down against the dollar so makes sense for the big US PE firms to get involved .

I think this seems more feasible, and the source has been pretty spot on so far. I dont think we will be sold totally short

It was market makers indirect shorting, that prevented it from rallying again. that's how market makers make their money.
The share price is worth at least 170p, we know this from King Street bid. they are no muppets and they know it inside out. 170p thinking a bargain, they will sweeten the offer to 200-225 and deal.done before this Friday. With Vectura there's bidding fight and share price behaved in similar way after first bid, which was rejected. final bid was 20% higher.

Simmons, lodgeview et al are here solely to FARM PI’s. Generally people who have worked hard and are trying to invest the profits of their labour. They attempt to create doubt and misfortune from which they seek to profit. In truth they are nothing but vermin who want to steal your money.

There is nothing to be gained by reasoning with them.

The filter function is your friend and their enemy. This is our time Chaps. Filter these Pratt’s out of this forum - we all know who they are - and let’s win out together

As mentioned Richard Griffiths a very well known investor has been buying, like many others substantial amounts of shares in his case 20 million over the past 2 days. How the share price could tumble today is just beyond me.
