I think thats the most frustrating thing with these idiots. They could be respected and clearly have some knowledge. But instead they are repetitive, ignore points made and change their tune. Its very sad, sometimes people would learn more from proper conversation

Toast doesn't want any balanced perspective on this board.

He wants a monopoly of Good news only and ramping talk of £3/£4/£5 bids to sucker in the novices. Toansy sounds like a gambler to me - that's why he is in the position of having all his net worth in ONE stock. I wouldn't take advice from anyone who is that desperate.

There is no such thing as a sure thing and certainly not here. In my opinion this will fall hard if there is no bid or the bid is rejected. For an example of this - Go and have a look at Senior plc - turned down £2 and 9 months later still languishing at £1.20.

Do not fall into the trap of buying hoping for a bid. Buy on fundamentals. That is all I will say.

Peeps cant hold for a few hours. Take a step back and see the bigger picture:

Shorts are closing.

Huge after hours trading.

Everyone has to declare what they are holding!!

170p already offered, highly early indicative offer (i.e. would not be surprised with further bids)

Mr Candy has 16th June to submit an official offer.

Other PE groups could enter the bidding!

MM has said he wants to take it private!

Full separation complete in less than 40days!

So much at play, it truly is mind boggling.

News on anything can break anytime.

Time to sit on hands, and enjoy the show.
(Days like today is shorters basically saying thank you ever so much to those impatient holders who sold)

Highest price today circa £1.52 and two vary large trades over 2 million a time at betweek £1.39 and £1.42 and some readers assume they are buys !!!

They could have been delayed sells from earlier in the day or the market makers worked them through the market.

If people are concerned about the slight drop today just look at the curve on the 1 year graph.

THG still way oversold and am not liking this narrative from the media that its worth £2.50 a share. Beauty alone is worth that and then there is the 5 billion valuation of Ingenuity by RBC. Feels like there is real pressure to get THG sold cheap to PE before any split. If the group splits then you can double that £2.50 back to the IPO price and more :)

Bob, I too have noticed a totally different tone to the advice being given out today than was given out last Thursday. Almost the approach that the good cops bad cops play out. Bad cop beats you up, goes out the room, good cop enters and emphasises with you and in the next breath tells you to stop the beatings tell him the truth and he will make sure bad cop does not come back in the room.
