20/2/2022 14:12 | Johnnymakeshait̷ Your not too smart are you lassie | sentimentrule
20/2/2022 14:07 | johnymakesit - that doesn’t deserve a response. But if you believe that’s possible, I suggest you sell the house and increase your short. But perhaps talk your theory through with someone more knowledgeable than you before you commit yourself? LOLs | boix
20/2/2022 14:06 | I said some months ago, revenue is not the same in retail as in other sectors. In retail, you can grow revenue very easily. It's hard to grow the earnings. In other sectors, growing revenue is hard but then earnings are easier to achieve. Big revenue in retail is not a sign and certainly not a guarantee that the business is sound. At the end, a company with a large revenue and negative earnings is a liability and is not worth much. Casing point, THG. Every business has its differences and it is clear that the majority of the posters here do not understand the sector and the business that THG is in. | bldm
20/2/2022 13:24 | To frank and honest, mugs holding this pig will be lucky to get 20p from the enricher. | johnymakesit
20/2/2022 13:20 | Kudos Boix, you are a clairvoyant. Explain why would a bid happen when majority shareholders will not sell. They did not release more stocks to keep control. Why would MM sell when he can allow these to continue to decline to 30p-40p, then take it off private at 55p-60p. The refloat in a few years to the likes of you at 600p again. | johnymakesit
20/2/2022 13:01 | I actually agree with you about any bid. It will likely be at the lower end of the current 700 - 217p analyst’s price target range. I refer you to my post yesterday as it has more detail 19 Feb '22 - 13:14 - 10931 of 10987 | boix
20/2/2022 12:44 | The mere fact that most here are rooting tooting for a PE to come and buy this out tells you everything you need to know. Every bullish holder is hoping for a rescue from a PE. A business might receive a PE offer and the decent businesses usually attract a good offer because buyers know owners are happy to own the business and need to be convinced to sell. Here, we have buyers who are desperate to sell because all of them are down double digits and the first digit isn't 1 or 2 or 3 and for a lot of investors it is not 4,5,6 or 7 either. But investors also don't want to hold this dog and can't wait to get rid of it. Every single bullish poster here is touting the PE circling THG because they want to get out. They don't believe in THG. They regret buying it. Yeah, they copy paste all kinds of articles to ramp THG but nobody is buying it and they know it's BS. Look at the boards of decent companies - nobody is trying to convince others that the company won't go bankrupt or that it's a decent company with a decent management. The fact is, being bullish and hoping for a buyout are mutually exclusive. So even though they pretend to be bullish, the likes of billionarebob, sentimentrule, Sensei, srs8 are in fact bearish - they just don't realise it yet. Because you cannot be bullish if you want a PE to buy the shares - which means you'll need to sell. So I'm pretty sure they don't even know what the plan is and what they are doing and have gotten themselves confused and in a pretty weird situation. This tells you everything. It also tells you what to expect from PE. It won't be a decent offer. It will be a slap in the face offer. PEs are smart and informed so what do you think they'll offer? Don't hold your breath for an offer anywhere near analysis valuations. Even at 100% premium this is a 230p stock. Personally, if I were holding, I'd be happy with anything above 200, I'd be throwing a party for an offer near 300, and above this is just unthinkable unless there is a bidding war which doesn't sound likely. But even then, a bidding war, IMHO, is a necessary but not a sufficient condition. | bldm
20/2/2022 12:37 | Gunslinger is sanks Account has been hacked and it’s proven | sentimentrule
20/2/2022 12:06 | Charming I do not think you like me too much, hence you are bullying me. Please relax today. Don't worry too much. Gun is rooting for all bulls. BOIX the head honcho has everything under control. Supplies being cut is bad news for THG. Please factor this in, then add, high inflation which will lead to recession, then pressure on the household discretionary expense, then Russia gun blazing, then papa Xi attacking Taiwan, then add PM Carrie wanting heat pump. No money will be left for protein and Diors. Gunslinger Shoot first, ask questions later. | guns1inger
20/2/2022 11:42 | Gunslinger Shoot first, ask questions later…. You sad pric hahaha | sentimentrule
20/2/2022 10:57 | Bid defence, great article. No. Failed to mention there's no need for defence as MM and cohorts hold more than half of total shares in the issue. Third rated fake news and being pushed by gamblers who are down -50%-60%-70% or more. The white elephant in the room, bid or not, suppliers cutting supplies, that mean crash is very likely tomorrow. Glad I am rooting for you guys, but I am afraid it's going to be a stampede, gun blazing all the way to 60p. Gunslinger Shoot first, ask questions later. | guns1inger
20/2/2022 10:30 | You on the other hand have no limits on your losses as you are short? Today’s Telegraph ……“ Very clear confirmation of a likely BID(s). | boix

19/2/2022 23:24 | My guess is that that the price Friday bounced off the firm fibonacci support at that level - Humans write the algos. It could have been the betaville report but the time line doesn’t accurately coincide - It bounced a few minutes before betaville report? It ‘should’ provide firm support as its also closed above the former low - Possible double bottom? The Telegraph report confirming takeover interest should also provide some support? Let’s hope Putin is not mad and is still negotiating? Nothing in the The Sunday Times or MOS about THG. | boix
