Books are opened prior to bids because it's a friend.

Yes, it's friendly making "bid" at the lowest price. That's a real friend BOIX. Whatever.

Seems the experts here lack common sense, I suppose it's down to desperation.

Is THG desperate then? Wow.

It must be worst than we all expected here. Could be a big hole in the business, if there's such desperation for a friendly takeover at the lowest price possible.

Please factor this in Bob.

Bob

I am merely here to discuss the pros and cons on a discussion forum. Sharing views amongst fellow investors.

Bob, please do not worry about others, you stated it's going to be £10, so why are you working overtime on a weekend, to further push your claim.

Remember it's a sure thing.

Still relevant and explains most likely first RNS once “books are opened” prior to bid - its not a PE ‘hostile’ bid.
Nothing to stop others from entering once first approach or bid is formalised.

Jeez it's like dealing with a child!!

gunster I am not saying they are allowing due diligence yet they have not informed the market.

Please read my post again.

I am saying that if this is true then an RNS is imminent as they have to let the market know that a suitor is looking at a snap shot of their current accounts.

Due diligence will include looking at the books :)

And you are wrong, you may have mickey mouse posters all over your bedroom walls but any mickey mouse can't read plc books.

How old are you?

Bob dear

So you are saying they are allowing due diligence to view the books, yet they did not inform the market.

Any mickey mouse can view plc books.

Some desperate criminal rampers underwater know more that's book is being viewed, but THG is breaking the law not informing the market.

Please, Bob, there's no need to work overtime this weekend; no RNS on Monday morning will mean be one thing. Premediated Criminal activity will fail.

Please spend time with your family; you stated with absolute confidence it's going to be £10, now you are just hoping for a bid to extricate yourself from a -40% loss.

Please tell us, are looking to back to 169p or 1000p. Be honest to yourself, to your family and God.

guns really?

What is the purpose of due diligence?
Due diligence is a process or effort to collect and analyze information before making a decision. It is a process often used by investors to assess risk.

When I sold my business the first thing the buyer asked for was a snapshot of my current accounts to make sure there was nothing untoward happening since the year end accounts.

If PE is doing due diligence they will ask to see the current books. This is price sensitive information and gives them advantage.

Anyone receiving an advantage has to be reported to the market via an RNS.

Who in their right mind would make bid without seeing the books?

Guns you sound like the kind of guy who would buy a car without looking under the bonet and taking it for a test drive first :)

Bob

Low entry to the barrier, China can provide AI and automation, including the Algos, to any competitor.

You need to wise up; Ingenuity will be a write off in a year when competitors with a large amount of money copy.

Bob, please do not work overtime this weekend, old chap, you have intimated it's a sure thing, £10, so chill.

huh

Before due diligence happens, there must be a bid.

BillionaireBob, you may have billions and billions; it seems you lack trillions of neurons and other brain cells. The objective Analysts from Hedge funds see this as a white elephant.

You can sense many IIs, even like Goldman is desperate to exit, getting criminal on 2p per post to put fake news and breaking the law, market manipulation.

It seems everyone wants to exit and palm this sick puppy to gullible.

They buy 6 months in advance, they biggest in marketplace, they get it cheaper than their competitors, they trying to absorb costs thanks to automation, they think prices will go down so are not ordering at these levels. Listen to the webcast this subject was covered :)

There's no such thing as Karma. Only low intelligent people believe in this. With a false rise, shorters will have the opportunity to dump millions more.

You will put a piece of fake takeover news, to sucker more in a false spike. True or False.

betaville, Top players.

Shorters will be guns blazing any rebellion, believe me.
