17/2/2022 11:33 | Looks like the cigar smokers are closing their positions :) | billionarebob
17/2/2022 11:27 | They are Off Book Trades (OB) - Traded on other broker dark pools. If there is sufficient volume on the dark pools the LSE book price won't move much if at all. That's why they use probably a collection of broker dark pools to get the disguised volume. The LSE book price is driven by the LSE AT trades. Amalgamated OB trades often booked on LSE after market close or follwing day. | boix
17/2/2022 11:22 | 37 x 20k buys gone through in the last 20 mins and STILL the price holds. BOIX what's going on? | billionarebob
17/2/2022 11:11 | 14 x 20k buys and still the price holds | billionarebob
17/2/2022 11:09 | Make that 11 x 20k and still price being held back | billionarebob
17/2/2022 11:09 | Yep they are certainly closing on their dark pools. Not even bothering to amalgamate trades to disguise it. Maybe there will be a few larger amalgamated trades later or even tomorrow - they can release data when they fancy! | boix
17/2/2022 11:07 | 8 x 20k sales went through in the last 5 mins :) | billionarebob
17/2/2022 10:51 | Holding up reasonably well today given overall market. Only 50% traded through the LSE book. More institutional shorts departing leaving the PI shorts to take the pain. | boix
17/2/2022 09:52 | Sub-£1 would be my guess. But that's not too far away now. | maltajellied
17/2/2022 09:06 | I like this answer mate haha! Surely we won't go much lower | griffo221
17/2/2022 08:49 | Where do we see the low going to ? | griffo221
17/2/2022 00:26 | Can't believe you guys are still doing this back and forth :D | senseibull
16/2/2022 19:16 | Its been on low volume through the LSE trading book today - less than 2m. So whilst there have been some PI’s adding shorts, I suspect the institutional shorts are doing the opposite outside on broker dark pools etc. These dark pool trades are booked as Off Book trades on the LSE as usual. That way the closing short volume on the dark pools won’t impact the pricing on the LSE trading book - Clever but needs planning and can’t be implemented quickly. Oddly I suspect overall short positions are reducing. Time will tell but the premature news leak actually benefited short sellers by letting them take the air out in their own time. Extremely frustrating for the long investor at least until the former shorts start to take long positions in time for any RNS. | boix
16/2/2022 19:00 | The size of the of the sales down at 119p speaks volumes RE shorts | griffo221
16/2/2022 18:42 | Rumours were substantiated by many sources (several Newspapers) but so far have not progressed enough for an RNS - That’s the issue at the moment. | boix
16/2/2022 18:39 | This really is a dog until PE bids come in. Totally undervalued, sector in doldrums :-( | leoneobull
16/2/2022 18:14 | Probably better to post that on the airlines thread, if you had listened to the investor call, beauty and health is the last things that people cut back on, plus their average basket size is only £45.. | newswseller
16/2/2022 17:09 | I really thought we had turned the corner with the PE interest but looks like it was leaked too early just providing false hope? Mr Market has certainly not bought into the idea of any take over. Only slight positive was the low volume today at c.45% below average. The high percentage of Off Book trades (at 55%) also suggests this share price is being controlled by the various broker dark pools. The high number of small recorded off book trades adds weight to that argument. Should that continue any positive news will force the shorts (well the PIs) to close quickly with limited liquidity on the LSE - should be interesting! One has to hope! | boix
16/2/2022 16:57 | Agree very painful, even a trading update would help especially if they have had a better January than predicted - look at internet sales in the article below An update on Ingenuity new customer 'sign up' would also help to flavour the pot | billionarebob
16/2/2022 16:48 | All time low 113.2p Need some positive news to turn this although I still think the Hedge Fund Shorts are closing but they are walking it down helped by PI shorts which are no doubt still adding. The hedge funds won't get caught short - Just the PIs Really soul destroying to watch for the long investors. | boix |
