Perhaps you should consume your resources to pick a better stock, rather disparaging posters using a forum to discuss pros and cons.

Johnny, damn straight. It's not the only problem (fundamental issues in economy and sector) but MM has exhibited major red flags, shown poor qualities and at the very least embarrassed himself and lost the trust of investors. Time is running out for him to redeem himself. Holders seriously need to consider removing him as CEO if this is at all possible with the current THG structure. There is a cloud of intrigue around him and there are plenty of very capable CEOs out there that can turn this around.

It always starts with margin miss and lowering the growth forecast...and growth and margins is all this company has as an not yet profitable company.

Yes, I have an interest here, it may be material or non-material, but I cannot disclose my interest. My interests may be monetary, or perhaps it's non-monetary. Maybe I am interested in how an illiterate like Matt could be in charge of a company that was floated at 5 bn mcap, perhaps that's why the market is crashing it, because they see the guy as an illiterate in charge of a PLC.


Plc demands CEO respects shareholders, it's not a family business. And shareholders need to respect the CEO, which is not the case here.

I have a fairly large position in THG - several 10's thousands at various price levels. I don't understand why people compare this to amazon. If this is like amazon, we are doomed because amazon is a greater company with 2 decades of headstart and if you want amazon, buy amazon. Like I said yesterday, just because we had an 9% up day doesn't mean anything. Today could be up or down. What I'm personally almost certain of (dyor) is that this will be £10 in 2-3 years at the latest. How it gets there is a toss or a coin.

Srs8 your last statement just is another confirmation of how uninformed you are and the misinformation you spew. Goldman has 2.7% in THG and BlackRock less than 5%. Significantly less than your misleading figures. Maybe leave that PC game, stop eating cheese puffs and getting fat, hit the gym and maybe check the data once or twice before investing.

Do they win on all shares and all asset classes? no.

It's merely assets allocation.

They make money because assets under management are in the trillions.

In fact Goldman makes most of its money on day trading activities not long term assets allocation.

Online retail is just out of favour at the moment. Virtually all online businesses have had their share price decimated and shorters riding the wave. PI's will probably panic sell and rich will get richer when the cycle turns.

II have increased by +7% since Jan, esp Blackrock who own over 8% and Goldman who own circa 6%
VC, insiders and private companies ownership not changed, so no selling
