Do you think the shares are discounting a full price bid to any extent..i don't i think there would have to be a significant premium to current levels to gain shareholder support.

For one reason or another, this will be 2x or 3x (or more?) current levels later this year IMO.
A case of sitting on hands and letting the merry dance play out.

Short squeeze is on, like a massive coiled spring.

Manipulated to high heavens, 80% lost in less than 6 months. Even just to get back to £5 would need to x4 from here!!

Extremely tight free float.

All business metrics through the roof.

Shorts are now naked - they have over done this, zero downside.

Multiple private equity firms looking to buy out.

Hence why complete disconnect in market value to what the actual business is worth.

Something big is going on, will all come to a head one of these days!!

Take over rejected at John Menzies plc and look what it has done to the share price. Whether THG release RNS to say accepted or rejected the same thing will happen here :)

Strange situation where there has been widespread speculation in the mainstream media and a significant share price move last Friday on the speculation and that the company has managed to avoid making a comment either way on its validity.If nothing going on easy to say statement re press speculation ..no basis. Their one duty is to avoid false rumours to be allowed to impact the price..creating a false market as such. Equally if there was definite truth in the article again it would be deemed highly price sensitive and had leaked into the public arena and folks were dealing on said information ..they would have to have put out a statement re press comment...we confirm we are at early stages.,,,By saying nothing it is strange..they cannot confirm or deny ??My only take could be that no formal approach to the board has been made but that they are aware the major shareholders and outside finance are trying to put something together and that by disclosing at such an early stage could jeopardise any transaction and would create more volatility in the market with there being no certainty of there being an approach ?

These city folk don't get bonuses for nothing. They made money on this ridiculous walk down of THG share price, and guess what, bet your bottom dollar, they will be making money once they let the shackles of and let it rocket straight back up.

Win win, bet they laughing all the way to the bank. Just hope some of them get burnt to smithereens on the way up!

No wonder the hedge funds have been closing since Friday - using every dark pool on the planet!
PE were always going to let the hedge funds out first - usually joined at the hip.
It’s just the PI shorters that get fried but not many according to the spreadbetters?

That's a lot of trading I'm full loaded with break even in one share account at 200p so it needs to fly just to recoup the losses.Many will bail as soon as they get there money back I would like to think I'll hold but not sure

First post was THG leak BEFORE is was reported in the papers. Thursday night he mentioned THG rumours, rumours officially only came out friday afternoon!!!!!

So has some credibility ;)

Not saying if he is/isn't legit! Make your own conclusions
