Only 29% of visible trading today is through the LSE trading book - extremely low.
Rest OB likely brokers dark pools and recorded later.
My guess is shorts closed.

They are all marked as Off book trades
Hedge funds or even shorts closed earlier in brokers dark pools.
Usually recorded after close.

RogerC1985 they are definately buys timed stamped when share price was a lot lower and yes you can if the MMs drop the price (tree shake) until they fill the orders :)

No they are Off Book trades.
Pre negotiationed trades likely from earlier and from a broker dark pool - hedge fund?
Absolutely meaningless as we don’t know the history.

But Goldman sold at 1.50 ish 20th Jan - if Goldman have been advising Advent on buyout surely they would have held their shares if they believed they were worth their own valuations.No idea what the regulatory position would be, but is it possible that GS HAD to offload their shares due to conflict of interest, if advising Advent & MM on possible buyout ????????
