09/2/2022 13:22 | Barely started moving yet. Rise could/will be spectacular. Shorters have gone after this, and have completely over done it!!massive upside. Every metric shows its now worth a pittance compared to company value/performance, hence Private Equity all over this rubbing their hands in glee! | ![]() london07

09/2/2022 12:48 | Good spot mcmather I think Mrsimmons has been busted ROFL Seriously though have you noticed a lot of the bashers have disappeared or not posting as much. Maybe their job here is almost done and they are moving on? | ![]() billionarebob
09/2/2022 12:45 | Mrsimmons so you disagree with the market and are putting a valuation of 1.7 billion on Ingenuity and you are valuing beauty, on-demand, and nutrition at zero? Or have I got that wrong? How do you get to your 1.7 billion valuations, can you give me a breakdown? Seems very cheap and is just £700k more than the current market cap. | ![]() billionarebob

09/2/2022 12:31 | Look at Shopify in the USA and how they value tech: Shopify's expected revenue for 2022 is predicted to be $4.57 billion Let's compare solely on ingenuity commerce currently valued at zero. This is what RBC said: -------------------- 'The broker said there is value in THG Ingenuity, the e-commerce platform that has been the butt of much of the City's ire, or more than the zero currently being attributed to it by the market. An order book more than doubling in 2021 gives momentum going forward and revenue is forecast to increase tenfold over the next five years to £500mln. SoftBank’s proposed deal with THG to buy 20% of Ingenuity for US$1.6bn, originally announced last May, will go ahead believes RBC, albeit it is possible the terms will be amended. ' -------------------- So half a billion in 5 years, I personally think with current 100% YOY growth it will take 4 years. EBITDA of 60% similar to Shopify, so if Shopify current market cap is $112 billion down from a high a few months ago of $200 billion then ingenuity value based on similar in 4 years could be revenue $680 million (based on the current rate of $1.36 to the pound) which is 7 times less than Shopify, this gives Ingenuity a potential projected price range of between $16 billion and $28 billion based on current Shopify figures and recent share price range? THE CURRENT MARKET PRICE FOR THIS GEM IS ZERO ABSOLUTELY CRAZY!!! LSE just doesn't get tech at all :( Is it any wonder USA investors are interested in THG | ![]() billionarebob
09/2/2022 12:18 | Shorters and the City clearly have an agenda against THG, it's become personal, manipulation, running every trick in their book, breaking laws whilst they doing it, as they are so desperate. Shorting, layering? Algos, name it, they doing anything and everything to keep a lid on this. This will fly soon, and they going be burning so badly. Just need one snippet regarding the Private Equity... | ![]() london07
09/2/2022 12:14 | Why would they, London is sxxx for tech. Growth companies in a different league over the atlantic. FTSE is for dinosaurs, they just don't get it!!! | ![]() london07
09/2/2022 12:02 | Softbank will be listing ARM in NewYork. I wonder if London was a consideration? | ![]() f56
09/2/2022 11:48 | Softbank valued THG Ingenuity at 4.5 Billion, only several months ago!!! This is going to be separated out in the next few months! They are not just pure investors. They are in here strategically. They love the Ingenuity Tech. They want to roll this out across their other wider portfolio. Bet your bottom dollar, they will be in with a deal somewhere. May end up buying the whole THG business rather than just THG Ingenuity. Let's wait and see. In M&A, the closer the deal gets, more parties enter the bidding, i.e. BIDDING WAR | ![]() london07

09/2/2022 09:47 | Level 4 remains on track..we believe fair value at £5.17. This target does not include Ingenuity which within the medium range time period, we believe the current zero price of Ingenuity if included, should price the stock at £10.57 per share. Sheila remains confident this will play out and any offer will reflect the above. Hope this helps..cos I've seen the books Sanks..OBE MBE BA HONS PHD LLB SHAG | ![]() sanks
09/2/2022 09:35 | Correct..if SoftBank are involved..maybe they are not directly in the main buyout but are going for an ingenuity side deal? | ![]() kooba
09/2/2022 09:22 | MM holds the special share and he is not going to let it go on the cheap. RBC have just put a valuation on Ingenuity of 4.5 billion within 5 years and this is currently priced at zero by the market. I am expecting substantial gains from were we are now. | ![]() billionarebob
09/2/2022 09:07 | I think first announcement has to be Ingenuity Spin Off. The presence of Softbank is an obstacle to a full PE buyout. They bought inn May 21 at £5.96, per the Takeover Code this sets the buyout price. MC £8.2bn seems excessive given where we are now | ![]() marekq
09/2/2022 09:02 | I personally think current position the risk reward looks attractive. Sure there is some downside if there is an outright denial but since they have never said they are in talks anyway..somewhat limited.also if no formal process triggering take over code then there will be no time limit on parties returning to the table.Downside on no action 10% upside on a takeover 100% ..just my view..i doubt an offer below 240p odd would be acceptable.Odds are probably 60% 40% on no action but still leaves an interesting punt. No advise at all just my take. Small long, might go more. Certainly intriguing! | ![]() kooba
09/2/2022 09:00 | With inflation soaring around the globe, lots of U.S private equity cash waiting to find a home in fast growing companies. THG is top of the list. | ![]() coscos |
