07/2/2022 19:18 | Leon - Broker note sums it up perfectly. It's simply way too cheap. Market always offers opportunities, have to grab the. With both hands. Whichever way you cut it, as proved by the broker note it has become way too cheap now, hence the PE interest. Would not be surprised of further interest from other parties! Bidding war, simple as that. PE have multi billions to invest, they love a profitable growth business, ticks all the boxes, like the note says even if they paid multiples of todays price!!!! | ![]() london07
07/2/2022 19:16 | What investments have they made value wise in that period Mr S? | ![]() g2theary

07/2/2022 18:54 | From proactive investor article todayBroker Liberum said: "News about PE interest is a clear sign that shares have become too cheap for the proposition THG is offering, which is not just a typical online retailer but also a [software as a service] model with a very well-invested infrastructure."We think there would be clear value for PE firms to be had even if they paid a very significant premium to the current price to take it private, as a future listing in the US, at the right time, would likely attract much higher multiples." | ![]() leoneobull
07/2/2022 18:53 | Simmons - Wrong Wrong and Wrong! | ![]() london07
07/2/2022 18:46 | Leon - I am aware of that. I was responding to the m0ron who keeps talking cash position whilst ignoring the elephant in the room i.e. the fact this hound is bleeding FCF by the day. | ![]() mrsimmons

07/2/2022 18:30 | London07 - you clearly don't understand accounts. The Group has cash of £530m which is all from the placing. It had £800m at the half year. This dog doesn't generate any FCF and won't do for the next 5 years at least. It is LOSING cash every year. This year it will lose cash and will continue to do so for the next 5 years. | ![]() mrsimmons
07/2/2022 18:28 | They tend to drift across the boards declaring doom and gloom, what a life to live, eh? Something missing in their lives IMO. Or they been burnt and just plain bitter. Ho hum, psssst, these boards don't affect share prices, don't tell anyone ;) | ![]() hamhamham1

07/2/2022 17:54 | ingenuity EBITDA margins were 20% in 2020 and I believe 25% is guidance this year. Probably rise to 30% over the next year or so. Even when it gets to £200m revenues it barely makes a dent in that cap-ex spend/interest/rent and exceptionals spend of £310m a YEAR. I have also assumed working capital stays flat (may decline with growth) and then you throw in stressed margins in the other businesses and this dog isn't making any money for at least 5/6 years. If they mention more margin pressure in the year end results this hound is going to below a quid. If it gets bought - £1.70p MAX. ABSOLUTE MAX. | ![]() mrsimmons
07/2/2022 17:53 | A company can grow at 100% 300% and 1,000% bur its meaningless without profits. Pack of cards ready to collapse all smoke and mirrors. | ![]() debsdowner |
