I need £5.17 minimum for my stock, or they can all go get shagged..I won't be interested in anything less then the ipo price.. that's what my bird is saying.

Shorts will be blown into the black hole, never to be seen again.. that's the price you have to pay if you ignore my bird Sheila and Level 4 guidance.

Or the catch all "see no reason for share price increase.....but shares are very undervalued.....talking on a regular basis to various institutions as a course of day to day business.
Either way THG are severely undervalued and the price has been manipulated down to transfer the shares from weak to the strong.

Toilet paper gossip needs to be flushed out by RNS Monday.

Either way the company has a duty to release.

Expect an RNS Monday something like this

"The company notes the sharp rise in its share price on Friday and the press speculation of private equity circling the company. The company has not been in any engagement with any private equity and the company believes the press reports to be pure gossip and speculation."

You are absolutely correct about that.
BUT
Under the rules of the exchange the company does have to confirm if the reported gossip is correct even if any discussions are at an early stage.
No RNS is confirmation that absolutely no material discussions have taken place and the shorts will understand that too.
Incidentally I have a modest long position priced below the closing price but I understand the risks here.
I hope we get a positive RNS but it’s by no means certain.
No RNS is very possible and likely disastrous for us long investors.

Look at the number of posts from BOIX and debsdowner today.. they have been caught short.. expect them to continue throughout the weekend.... The company does not have to RNS either way.. the price is only up to what it was a week ago, so hardly a huge rise worth selling off..

I entirely agree with your comments. The company need to issue an RNS before market open to clarify. If its market gossip then say so.

Anyone remember that accountants name who did a review on THG..? I can't remember his name. Looking for his video... the name Steve rings a bell, not 100% sure though. Anybody know?

He is now forced to confirm that it’s true.
He has no choice even if discussions are at an early stage.
The reported gossip has boxed him into a corner.
He either confirms the gossip or says nothing.
Saying nothing confirms to the market that there are no material discussions.
It’s unfortunate but a very binary outcome.

Unless it is categoric statement from ceo of no intention to look at buy out options which i doubt because he would not want to box himself in then I think talk will not easily be dismissed ..if there is not comment I wouldn't take it that nothing is going on.

Since that is just gossip ..it is quite possible the company do not know of PE intentions..nothing there is fact..all just cake and beers.

Nobody will be stupid enough to increase a short on this Monday RNS or not. Shorts will be closing as fast as humanly possible.

Strange market gossip, the company needs to clarify before market open, either its market gossip or third parties have been into the offices to talk with management.

No company of any inegrity allows the public to freely walk around its head office and warehouses.

So if its "cooked" and "gossip" the company have a duty to issues an RNS either way.
