24/1/2022 12:36 | They can, but it is whether they choose to, and their level of conviction. Most of the shares are held by the Boel family. It is quoted in Belgium and is performing ok, has a multitude of holdings. However Blackrock dumped its stake, they may feel as though after an 80% fall since listing that they are top heavy. | bookbroker
24/1/2022 12:30 | Why would a family office not be able to hold a position when it falls so much? On the contrary - a family office is exactly the market player that is able to hold a company that has fallen 90% and even increase. | bldm
24/1/2022 12:26 | Imagine Sofina reducing, I just do not see how they would continue to support this company after the falls, it is a private investment fund, and even they have limits of tolerance. Remember Carphone Warehouse dropping to 40p back in 2002, same with Sports Direct after rising substantially initially post IPO. City does not like mavericks, always needs to bring them to heel. | bookbroker
24/1/2022 12:21 | I think down 17% deserves some form of communication to the market, particularly when it's down around 50% in the last three weeks. No buying, no RNS as to why the drop, no discussion with institutions re buying or broker notes, no positive PR to mitigate the drop, what is MM doing? | pauliewonder
24/1/2022 12:17 | billionarebob should rename to thousandairebob or more like thousand-dare-bob... Guess we know why they call it "The Hut Group". Because if you bought the shares, you'll end up living in a hut. Or maybe because a hut is to a house what THG is to a company. | bldm

24/1/2022 12:00 | The time would be right for Moulding to start buying in the market with the several hundred million he was gifted on IPO, that’s as long as he has not pledged them as collateral for other dealings. | bookbroker
24/1/2022 11:59 | Thg owe it to shareholders to give an explanation. | dalailama
24/1/2022 11:57 | By contrast revolution beauty is valued at twice turnover | hybrasil
24/1/2022 11:55 | Its now valued at less than turnover which for a company growing at the rate it is, is daft | hybrasil
24/1/2022 11:55 | If I was Matthew I'd be tempted to suspend these ! What on earth is going on | perch3

24/1/2022 11:51 | It's a discussion board you little twerp, going around on a day like today when everything is dropping thinking you're the big man saying I told you so. Getting a life, shut up and learn a bit of respect for others. Karma | tomzimerman
24/1/2022 11:17 | Guess when inflation peaks and rates expectations are more or less constant then this will get a breather. It might be under £1 by then though. Not to get too political but that baboon in N10 and the UK meddling in Eastern Europe with the potential to start or at least get involved into a war with Russia isn't exactly an environment for growing businesses. Factor in the background radiation from Brexit - can't be helping a company which generates most of it revenues from abroad and has production and warehousing in the EU. | bldm
24/1/2022 11:04 | That newspaper cutting made me laugh given current Russian situation, look at the cartoon lol | 1pencil
24/1/2022 10:58 | Within 24 hours of the start of this thread I posted the article below from Private Eye in post #4. The writing was on the wall right from the get go. Private Eye 1530. 11.09.2020 | bbmsionlypostafter
24/1/2022 10:57 | Who is SB? | billthebank
24/1/2022 10:54 | I'm not sure why people hold SB in such high regard. They've got a few good bets but are also involved in some really shady deals. The biggest scandals of the past 10-20 years have SB written on them. | bldm
24/1/2022 10:52 | Wow, I got my trade very, very wrong but thank goodness I got out when I did. Lost a little bit of money but if I was still in now I would be in a real mess. Agree with bldm about MM's mum writing in to the Sunday Times. Such a bad decision on her part but I guess it explains a lot about why MM would say all the silly things he has been quoted as saying over the last couple of months. This isn't even fun anymore. THG at 125p means that everyone still holding who bought their shares (as opposed to the staff that got them free) is in a losing position. Some people on this board have lost tens of thousands of pounds. Horrific. | maltajellied
24/1/2022 10:38 | GO CASH If you want to pick up handsome bargains Markets are driven down on sentiments nowNothing fundamental anymore The biggest money crooks who control the media want a big correction in the markets so scare mongering is the names of the game on the big media..Catalysts Interest rates WARInflation at 30 year high Enough ammunition to drive the markets down big time | kaka47
24/1/2022 10:36 | 125 BWAHAHAHA | allenquatermain
24/1/2022 10:33 | at this rate it will be below £1 before end of week. | sr2day |
