f56 that's a low bar. A punch in the face is a good alternative to THG. Even bob's wife is a good alternative to THG at this point.

IMB is a good alternative to THG at the moment while the market is volatile.

@downbutnotout...there have been quite a few big trades reported today...10 trades off book totalled 3.1m shares (one for 1.6m at 7.32am) and the top 40 off book volume trades totalled c3.9m shares which equates to 65% of the total volume as at 13.40hrs. All offbook trades totalled 4.5m which equates to 78% of total volume as at 13.40hr as balance of 22% volume spread across 1.3m Algo trades.

So...not sure if these means shorters buying back or somebody dumping as the reported buys/sells not always correct...and smaller Algo traded just to supress price...I suspect we will see in TR-1s or short tracker soon enough with the culmination of this weeks trade as just cannot be Goldman's trading

Insiders buying THG now will be an outrage. This just looks like a scheme. Not like they are fighting to get a hold of shares. Not even some small/symbolic buys...

Growth company valuations have been falling for a while. From memory, this started in Sept 2021 but the last few weeks have been terrible. There's an argument to be made that THG got repriced drastically from 650 to 200 within a couple/few weeks in Sept/Oct. The problem is since then investors have been pulling money out of tech companies and this is going even lower. Investors have been pulling money full stop. It's a theory which might be completely bogus or explain at least a component of what we are seeing with THG. Another component is MM. The environment in the next few years could be very different from anything we've seen in the last few decades. Both economically and politically. Brexit ain't helping although MM hasn't blamed anything on Brexit...yet.

Government taxing more, corporation tax increasing, Brexit, commodity price increases - ultimately THG sells luxury products or at least non-essential items. On the Q4 call, MM claimed cosmetics and supplements are the last items people cut out when disposable incomes fall but that does not make sense. Unless he's putting addictive substances into the nutrition products...At the very least, consumers switch to cheaper items.

Bob woke up and saw his wife on the floor. She'd seen the family finances and investments on his computer and had a heart attack and a stroke at the same time.
