The thing is, AllenQuatermain, anyone who bought THG in the past is now in a losing position as the share price is at an all-time low. It's ridiculous and I don't think it helps to single out people for ridicule, does it?

Plenty of cash sitting on the balance sheet, share repurchase programme would make sense at these levels given they already have the authority.

Stick them in treasury for future negotiations and/or remuneration pension plans.

Re valuations of beauty division - has anybody done the sum of parts that THG has paid for All the acquisitions. Some purchase prices at 3x revenue so what is beauty division worth if one just uses acquisition values alone

PE range interesting - My thinking is selling too soon for there is an excellent unrealised synergy for the products - they need to realise the value and global reach - which they are achieving

Selling beauty division is a bad move - if one looks at growth demand for beauty is superb - don’t kill the cash cow

On the breakup of THG. If I remember correctly this is because of the SoftBank deal. I'd suspect that SB is interested in ingenuity but not the other parts of the business and this is why MM is spinning it out. If ingenuity is spun out tomorrow, SB could do a sneaky takeover with the low prices. If as you suggest this is undervalued, they'll get the high margin part for pennies. That's a worry. Yes? No?

Good summary post, tend to agree with most points.

My bet is we are seeing the rump of Goldman's holding being sold down, can't have much left since their last TR1, perhaps another couple of days if volume keeps up.

I'll pop another thread up in the next few days with access to header, if someone else would like to do this please feel free.

According to Chartists - THG now at bottom of falling trend channel. On Friday broke through the bottom of 1.49 (to 1.45 so a false break) then back up. So Monday will be interesting battle - bounce or break channel.
