It was all there in the IPO and they are tring to make improvements. Remember the business hasn't changed just the share price, in nearly all areas THG is out performing IPO targets.

I am a holder but it's annoying about the whiffy property deals and the boss having the Chairman and CEO seats, both these have annoyed investors, both small ones and big institutional ones.
Mud sticks and you have to work doubly hard to win peeps back.

Neither of those calls above pass the smell test, but unfortunately no-one stood up to the boss and said NO!

Frustrated holder!

Here are some facts and figures for you courtesy of lse board: My take on where we are is as follows1. We are into extreme value here - I don't usually talk sales multiples on valuation but it is relevant here as we are sub 1x price to sales versus every global peer / potential buyer of each part of business is 2.5x to 7x sales to value multiple. Given any global buyer will ultimately double sales at least as they push a niche product through their own global channels with higher ebitda too, this is relevant. Also relevant is most massive global buyers would give their right arm to buy my protein in particular2. No director buying since statement.... tells you the board are inside and simply cannot buy. This point has to be unequivical. IF IF other big holders are also inside then that often takes away the most obvious natural buyers of a stock. The takeover panel limits such inside conversations to a half dozen but I suspect that is where we are.3. Understand the register - near 50% of the company is 5 names inc MM. Key points - that is a nice start BUT not enough to go private (IF THAT IS WHAT THEY WANTED TO DO) without paying a sensible price for the balance. Most of the top 5 can hold private paper but many other holders cannot. They need 25% more at least to go private but 90% really. I think 350p would be a steal and that 400p more likely but would expect higher. Sad Premiums are based on 3 month average historic prices NOT on Friday nights close ! If I were Managment i would def give up on the public markets but it saddens me to say that. Therefore what is the right price ?. If this is the track they go down they will get on with it no doubt quicklyMy huge preference is an ON market turn around where probably my protein or beauty is sold alongside a big contract for Ingenuity to run probably for 10 years thus achieving two things obviously - 1. Several billion of cash in BUT propelling ingenuity into a proper business with obvious very big value and that then gets its 10x sales rating over time. The shares would quickly track to 500p plus. A positive massive double whammy with no doubt not one but several ready buyers who would love to own either division. The big question is whether the disposal and back to back contract happens on market or off. Remember the Sunday times rankings well pre ipo of the number 1 fastest growth company in the U.K., for several years running - nothing could touch this company and it remains one of the UK's best global leaders with extremely clever management who will choose the right road for the long term of THG. What they won't do I have no doubt is a slow turn around and try and persuade hedgies to believe in them. Hedgies will get massively burnt here. It will be soon I suspect as this is a fast pace company naturally and big I would have thought. Either way at 150p we are sitting in deep value and we are in the w

Asos, AO, BOO, Darktrace, Arvl are they all victims of fraud too? If anyone on this board is like trump its you. Everything you post is a conspiracy theory. And you NEVER have anything good to say about THG, why would you invest in a company that you think may be fraudulent? You are either a bad investor or have an alternative motive? You don't normally work weekends so now I am optimistic about next week, so thanks for that. :)

Bob, the problem with you is that you always take the conversation into the mud. I've said something serious. Either don't say anything or say something relevant. You have 2 modes - BS and ramping. I've pointed out a number of things about THG that are questionable. Even the biggest THG supporter will agree there are questionable things about the company. Such things have been pointed out to you and not once did you say they at least have a point. You're like a Trump supporter. MM can come out and shoot someone on the street and you'll see this as a buy signal.

You just won't let anyone to question THG. The share price is down 80% my friend. You should be searching for whats wrongb yourself. You just can't admit to yourself you bought a lemon.

From LSELook at darktrace as an example Darktrace has a market cap of £2.9 billion on £280 million revenues and is making lossesIf Ingenuity continues to grow at its current rate and is valued as a 10 x multiple (same as darktrace and other tech businesses) then it will have reached its softBank valuation prob by Q2 2023.That is why softbank is interested, ingenuity is the golden ticket and that is why they paid 1 billion to get 20%The fact that Ingenuity is currently priced at zero is just bonkers!!!

By this definition, all articles published about THG in the past 1 year with 1-2 exceptions are defamatory. Just be careful guys, where there is smoke, there usually is a fire. Market is not over or under reacting, it is reacting to something we don't understand. My biggest worry with THG is fraud and the share price behaves like a company that has been hit by fraud. At least in my experience. Companies don't lose 80% of value because of small revenue miss. This is an opinion forum, it's understood by definition that we share opinions.

Ramping and deramping is all about overstating and understating facts about a company. I haven’t seen any overstated or understated statements re. THG today, only differerences of opinion.

THG tried to IPO in 2011 and the IPO collapsed after "a fraud inflating THG’s valuation was discovered in September by THG’s auditor, PwC". I guess this time they succeeded?

senseibull - is this another place where you'll lure investors to ramp up THG to them? Funny, it's not a cesspit when you were posting things to pump this up and laugh at people who were negative on THG at the time.
