26/1/2022 13:51 | For me, it's down 85% from highs, so today there's a lot more room to go up than down. But hey, time will tell. | ![]() hamhamham1

26/1/2022 13:01 | What's not right is MM being Chair and CEO, the smelly property deal and recently his mum getting involved. (Hilarious the last one). They all add up to not a good look. They are a listed company not MMs private play thing now. But if they are still making 9 figures profit, 164m last broker estimate? Then once the actual figures are out and other stuff is sorted then investors will be happy and share price will rise. For me it's just sit on hands, am happy to hold and to have added at these levels. Time will tell, no-one knows, but these boards won't fill themselves ;) | ![]() hamhamham1
26/1/2022 12:21 | wtf, analysts are useless.the share price movement indicates something is not right.wait until it comes to light and the share price either capitulates or rockets.i have seen this so many times and in most cases the private investor loses out. | ![]() sr2day
26/1/2022 12:13 | Ingenuity is the golden ticket currently priced into today's share price at zero. Absolutely bonkers!!! RBC Notes - Zero is the wrong price for Ingenuity. We sympathise with the challenge in valuing THG Ingenuity — indeed, it is what previously kept us on the sidelines. However, its momentum in FY21 — we believe its site orderbook more than doubled — and improved disclosure have been overlooked. We have carried out a detailed bottom-up analysis, underpinned by what the business has actually achieved to date and as a result, have greater confidence in our valuation. We project that Ingenuity Commerce could increase tenfold to £0.5bn of revenue in 5 years, which at an EBITDA margin of c.60%, drives our DCF valuation for the segment of £4.4bn. Yet, the market is attributing no value at all. | ![]() billionarebob

26/1/2022 11:24 | I remember reading something about Matalan from way back but couldn't place the connection, from 2010: "..and highly successful retailer Angus Monro participated in the fundraising. Angus Monro (former CEO of Matalan), Iain McDonald of The William Currie Group and Mark Evans of Balderton Capital have each joined the Hut Group’s Board." | ![]() 1pencil
26/1/2022 10:27 | Online can be lean and mean - over expansion is the killer. Scale of economies investing in autostore can reduce over heads and head count (shifting 100 million items is labour intensive) they must manage these issue. Beauty and health high margin especially when manufacturing the products | ![]() merrick1965
26/1/2022 10:20 | Regarding inflation, one good thing about online retailers is they can update the sell prices on the entire range of offerings by say 5% overnight. Yes it might put some customers off but most all other rivals will be increasing prices as well, if they have any brains. (Obviously they wouldn't do all products overnight, just a few every day, less noticable) An extra £1p here, £1 there, soon adds up on 100m orders. | ![]() hamhamham1
26/1/2022 10:08 | I really don't see Russia invading the Ukraine. Putin knows how to play the West, and he's very good at it. Maybe outcome of talks a will be say a 5yr freeze on Ukraine contemplating joining NATO and sign off to agree Nordsteam 2 pipeline? Politicians love to kick the can down the road. | ![]() hamhamham1
26/1/2022 09:48 | I got these, asos and boohoo, I spread the love (and risk). | ![]() hamhamham1
26/1/2022 09:46 | Been watching from sidelines for some time Will have a punt at 100 if it gets there but looks like a bit of interest at 120 level to be taken out before I see any fulfilment Have left order there if filled will put in sock drawer and forget about it Am long cash and intend to remain so for time being selling on any significant move up until Ukraine situation is resolved This market is bad for the health and wealth | ![]() jubberjim |
