Apologies also for the earlier comment.

All ok here hguess, I'm good with a bit of banter,

impossible to judge anything currently as we have no idea of future plans. I am sure there will be a few more surprises heading our way.

Being positive would only be celebrating mediocrity, I haven't seen anything yet that would change those thoughts.

Peter,
Calm down !.
You are aiming at the wrong target.

Give us your judgement !.
Are you positive or negative on the next Tethys news release ?.
Are the new investors credible ?.
Are they a new version of the Kumars?
Will Olisol accept the new deal?

Your call !.

Absolutely no idea what your paraphrasing is trying to say or its underlying meaning. I didn't really have you down as a pompous prig but hey, you never can tell.

Roadblock, delayed...........Now they are the words we are used to seeing

I find it interesting that Tethys ditched its original investors for the new investors with the 20% offer !.
Its all gone quiet since then.
Either the deal has been signed up or some sort of roadblock has appeared.
In any case, PI's are left in Limbo !.
Perhaps the crucial date for news is
31 Aug when all is revealed incl the
20% take up, Abay Amirkhanov as new
director, the delayed annual financial report and even a new CEO !.
I wonder who the real KZ investors are and who Abay represents ?.

Peter,
Please try to suppress your Tourette tendencies for a bit longer in the hope
that the final throw of the dice may provide a ray of hope !.
To paraphrase " PI's in public places are much nicer than Pseudo professionals ".

I would like to say we will soon find out. But The word "Soon" and "Tethys" used in the same sentence just makes me laugh insanely whilst having a moment of Tourette's

Peter,
Pure speculation on my part !.
Nostrum are major players in KZ and they have the capacity to take "Tethys by the scruff of their neck" and make something out of Tethys.
Take a look at the Nostrum Website and who the major shareholders are !.

Like you, I have no idea who these new KZ investors are, but I am hoping that they have something of value (more than the Kumars or Olisol) to offer.

Have I missed something here, WTF has Nostrum got to do with this deal. Or are you saying these new boys are their lackies
1399peter

Peter,
My guess is that this latest foray in dilution of Tethys equity might be " Custer's last stand". It could be make or break.
It depends on whether the new investors follow through on their commitment taking into account Olisol's involvement and their intention either to support or dispute this deal.
Remember that Olisol is a shareholder and a creditor and the other creditors are
AGR and Cayman and also Pope( ALR).
If the new investors have done their due diligence, they must be aware of the pluses and minuses in committing to this deal.
I still feel that the NI's consider that the deal is worth it based on the proven reserves and the fact that the licences to drill have been recently extended.

My hope is that the whole objective of this new deal is to start a fresh programme of drilling of oil and gas.

Ideally, Nostrum should get involved and consider integrating Tethys into its operations which would enable export pricing of Tethys output as part of Nostrum and also using Nostrum's refining operations.

Purely my optimistic hope and wish that this occurs !.

Peter,
My hope is that the willingness of Pope to subordinate itself to new KZ investors through the grant of a possible 20% share of the total Tethys shares, indicates an acceptance by Pope that the locals should control Tethys future. Hence the " interim
CEO role of Sjoberg ".
The question is whether the new KZ nvestors carry enough "clout" in order to restore Tethys fortunes.
The " Elephant in the room" is still Olisol, who have to agree to this proposed deal.

I will remain cautious at the mo, as I really don't believe that this time around we are going to see anything different to what we have seen over the last three years.

Peter,
The key to this whole drag of a long drawn out tragic drama lies in the availability
of substantial funds to drill more wells and produce more oil and gas.
The expected "peanuts" of $2.5m from yet another episode of equity dilution is not the solution for drilling more wells !.
The Tethys BOD should learn from Nostrum's BOD on how to raise funds for drilling !.

Casual,
Based on past performance of the Board, it is quite possible that the placings have taken place and that the warrants have been taken up and that PI's would be informed
only as an afterthought.
The financials might be released afterwards.
On the other hand, if none of this has occurred then what you say is the likely scenario and it could be "curtains" for all !.

So:

No sign whatsoever of the new funding -- even though was supposed to happen "around end of July"

No sign of the 2017 accounts -- even though was supposed to happen "around end of July"

TPL still suspended

Next step.....administration? Full delisting?

From the last RNS:

"the placings would close on or around the end of July 2018."

==> This has not yet happened as I believe we should have received an RNS for it.

"Abay Amirkhanov will be appointed to the Board of Directors of the Company on closing of the placings provided he has filed a PIF"

==> This has also not happened yet. A directorship would need to be announced by RNS.

The 30 days only relates to the warrants and are only counted from the "grant date", which is not necessarily the date of the last RNS but could e.g. coincide with the date they take up the placing shares (for which no deadline was given and which as far as I can see has not even happened yet):

"The Company will grant each Investor share purchase warrants giving each Investor the right to acquire up to 31,758,506 ordinary shares of Tethys for a period of one month from the grant date"

By 18 Aug, we should know if the new investors have signed up to take their 20%
shareholding in Tethys as indicated by the RNS dated 18 July.
This would include the warrants to be taken up in one month since 18 July.
In total the total would amount to 127m Tethys shares, 20% of the total shares.
If this occurs the new investors would become the major shareholders of Tethys.

To date, it's been all quiet with no indication of whether the KZ front man's business profile has been approved by the TSX regulatory authorities.
It is also interesting that one front man represents both investors.

I think he is as fed up as the rest of us with the unbelievable level of incompetence shown and the complete lack of respect for the shareholders. You couldn't shout the "C" word loud enough in this instance.

I think events, since, have overtaken that post and the clock could " tick tock" into Aug, determined by the " new investor/s" commitment and filing.
As usual, the news, good or bad, to PI's comes when it is all done and dusted !.
