Casual47, agreed it would seem difficult to imagine all would be recovered but at least the Olisol shares and loan outstanding (if I recall) could be offset against that. PS: I'm not at all hopeful and only grateful to have had other more successful investment (VRS) to offset the significant losses from this debacle. I know others are less fortunate in that regard.

Tory governments have been in charge of the NHS for more than 40 of its 70 years.....

PPP and PFI in the NHS ballooned under Labour....

casual,

If they are being held in an ISA and delist, they will be moved out of your ISA and held in your trading account.

Redstone,

All they seem to be doing in my eyes is playing for time and making it look like they have tried every option to save the company, for legal reasons no doubt. So once they can satisfy that criteria, they can then go into liquidation and surprise surprise one of our recent investors friends snaps it up for pennies.

It really does look like the Company has been stolen from us by collusion and deliberate acts of sabotage.

Obviously I would love to be wrong about that, but I'm not going to kid myself and think that these guys are genuinely trying to save it whilst doing the complete opposite.

A bit like a Tory saying the NHS is safe in our hands lol. We all know its a lie

R64 - do you think TPL can compel any entity in Kazakhstan, and especially Olisol, to pay damages awarded by a foreign court?

Olisol appear to barely obey the law in their own country, what with their armed militia of fake bailiffs....

Casual47, mine are still in an ISA with Interactive Investor. Some others still in limbo.1399Peter, indeed a shambles and the latest news has alienated the board from us PIs still believing that this was all Olisol's work. It better had be something face-saving going on behind the scenes, but like you not holding my breath. What ever happened to the Canadian court damages being awarded?

Is anyone still holding their shares in an ISA/SIPP?

My remaining Tethys shares were in a SIPP with Barclays and they removed them from it but because they were in a pension wrapper they told me they couldn't give me certificates (even though originally they told me this was the only option) and now they are holding them on my behalf....somewhere - so limbo.

Wonder what will happen when they delist altogether.

Place your bets folks.

I bet we get to the end of the month with no news. And then we see an official statement from TSX.V about the de-listing of TPL.H.

You'll have to sell your kidneys and corneas TI. Sorry to have to break it to you like that. If you have good looking daughters we might be able to save one cornea for you.

How many crooks do we have to hunt down to get our losses back?

Yes it is beyond belief. And this is why I really have very little faith in them turning this around as they so clearly want to run it into the ground. No doubt a quick management buy out from the liquidators, bobs your uncle fanny's your aunt, they all get stinking rich running a private company.

Depending on how long the suspension last, it could affect anyone who has them in an ISA.

Can't see many people affected by this. The share was already in the graveyard.

Zangdook,
Well said!
At least KZ is reasonably stable compared to the countries supported by
the big powers who wanted an " Arab Spring", that turned sour !.
Emerging countries need time to develop
into western style democracies.
Easy to point the finger !.

Probably not because our head of state isn't screwing over an oil company

That BBC video is a bit rich, complaining that Kazakhstan has had the same head of state for 27 years and his family have acquired great wealth. The BBC is from a country which has had the same head of state for 66 years, and her family own vast swathes of land, fabulous art collections, palaces and castles. Do Kazakh TV guys come to the UK and ask about that?

Video, is interesting TI, Just says to me Kaz is another pretend democracy run by the Mafia.

The judicial stuff was interesting, although in a year and a half they haven't had one case. So not very effective.

Regarding high court decision, I have to agree with casual on this. Since when have the Mafia ever given a toss about the law. They kill people and their families no matter who they are. That's how they win.
