28/6/2018 11:03 | If Medgat Kumar is unable to support Tethys, perhaps it is time for PAM to team up ( what a thought after all the bitterness and deception !), with Olisol and try to restore some stability before the whole set-up falls apart and the vultures take over !. | ![]() hguess16
28/6/2018 09:00 | hguess16, interesting thoughts indeed. Definitely worth making a suggestion via email to Bill Wells.........Just in case he doesnt bother to read this BB or it has magically slipped his mind! Or maybe you get a job at Tethys and be their financial planner.......You seem to have an amazing grasp on financing and the positives whereas from the minute amount of info that is told to their shareholders the Management dont!!!! | ![]() temporarily insane
28/6/2018 08:04 | A Fresh Start !. Is it possible for PAM and Olisol to forget the past and start afresh by agreeing to fund a drilling programme for Tethys ? Is it possible for them to settle all legal disputes and convince the existing creditors to agree to a new rescheduling debt plan based on the revenues from a new drilling and pricing plan ?. They would no doubt need to cough up and commit to funding the drilling programme. They could offer the proven reserves as collateral. The only issue is whether the other major shareholder ( Medgat Kumar) agrees to come on board ?. Olisol will no doubt want equal control of Tethys in one form or another !. Just my reflections on a way forward !. | ![]() hguess16
27/6/2018 22:47 | Before we all jump off the cliff....bear in mind: while the fact they didn't have money to pay auditors is a major red flag, they may have *chosen* to temporarily not pay for an audit and instead dedicate all of their cash flow towards 1. Keeping the lights on (e.g. pay off interest/loans) and 2. Capex which (hopefully) will be cash generating. So let's wait and see what their report has to say, once it is released. Cashflow with Tethys has been very bumpy and bottleneck-y in the past: nothing for months and then suddenly millions of dollars. Fingers crossed that they just happened to be in a temporary bottleneck. | ![]() casual47
27/6/2018 22:17 | Time to finally dig the Tethy's grave............it' | ![]() itchycrack
27/6/2018 22:10 | Another point on this discussion is that if Tethys goes down, Oliosl would also lose the $6.3m they paid for their 63m shares and also they will have to fight it out with the other creditors to get back their $5.8m w/c lent to Tethys. I somehow cannot see Olisol giving up without a fight if this happens. They could all end up in the KZ courts. Someone should take hold of this mess, bang some sense and, sort it out to save Tethys and its long suffering shareholders. even if the BOD cannot come up with a sensible and realistic plan. After all, there's oil and gas in "them there" fields valued at least at $150m. What a mess !. | ![]() hguess16
27/6/2018 22:05 | But there might be positives.......... ""Tethys is focused on oil and gas exploration and production activities in Central Asia and the Caspian Region. This highly prolific oil and gas area is rapidly developing and Tethys believes that significant potential exists in both exploration and in discovered deposits"" | ![]() temporarily insane
27/6/2018 21:27 | What puzzles me in all this is that PAM, who invested early, might have paid, my guess, at least, $15m plus for their initial investment. Why are they putting all this at risk by apparently, not even considering funding the drilling of wells ?. I do not think this is a deliberate act, but rather a lack of foresight and always reacting to events. I wish someone could enlighten us on this dilemma of a lack of positive action !. | ![]() hguess16
27/6/2018 21:05 | TI, Wells and the Board must be aware of my comments about using proven assets to fund the drilling of oil and gas wells. I have kept banging on about this and provided examples of other energy Co's who have used proven oil and gas assets to fund exploration. It seems that they simply don't know or see how they could do this in KZ. I am puzzled and cannot quit understand why !. Have they tried this approach ?. I don't know !. Tethys record of drilling has been poor and they have to use drilling contractors to get the gas and oil out. I have no knowledge about progress of drilling by Great Wall and whether it's still going on !. Wells and his team have to somehow fund a plan for drilling wells right now !. | ![]() hguess16
27/6/2018 20:37 | How many buffoons does it take to run a company into the ground when the sole asset is the billions of barrels of oil under the ground? Theft in anybodys eyes is a crime by scumbags. | ![]() temporarily insane
27/6/2018 19:48 | 1.5p a share and they can have my leftover limbo shares. | ![]() casual47
27/6/2018 19:38 | I would imagine there is an offer on the table already, sell them or lose them. Lots of games being played here | ![]() 1399peter
27/6/2018 19:10 | The shareprice drops 50% on a 1000 trade. Good luck trying to shift 63 million of them. Olisol wouldn't be able to shift their shares even if they wanted to. | ![]() casual47
27/6/2018 18:52 | Lack of cash, lack of focus on production and pricing, top management reorganisation, and lack of knowledge of statutory reporting requirements ?. Money spent on Court disputes in Canada and KZ, with no financial benefit !!!. Share price collapse ! I thought Wells and PAM were determined to recover their investment following the departure of Robson and his crew !. To date, the results have been a big disappointment !. What has the BOD been focusing on to get Tethys out of this mess ?. Are they waiting for a saviour to rescue Tethys ?. The only tangible asset Tethys has, are the proven reserves of oil and gas and if the BOD fail to use it as a bargaining chip, who knows what will happen !. Very disappointing !!. I hope the BOD wakes up and acts decisively before it is too late !. | ![]() hguess16 |
