Difficult to read the share price really, other than its recovered after the mini-budget (decent yield) and Tesco doing pretty well as a business. Might not do much at all for quite a while.

Buybacks distort the market mo. Citi group load the order book heavily with both buys and sells imo but wdik? This leads to very high volume of trades. When buybacks stop volume drops and price becomes more erratic following true buys or sells. Dyor

We bought same twenty essential items in Aldi and Tesco and price difference

While one shop was cheaper, some of their items were more expensive
