We will naturally start to see more buying interest now as a possible DA sale sinks into people's minds, less reason to hold if it was 4 years away but with revenues on course, partners expanding and Stage 3 confirmed a lot more risk in being out.

All companies are correctly valued on NAV (technology based or otherwise).

The expectation is that any company is sold above NAV due to the synergy of any M&A.

DA's actual NAV is negative as it is technically insolvent. Hence it is worthless.

Terd make up DA's NAV based upon how much funding it needs.

Love the GCSE example of inventory cost. There is something called market value inventory (and many ways of valuing raw materials, WIP and finished goods) you utterly clueless IDIOT.

Oh and don't forget, they want to buy 8 more companies with A couple of mil in the account....Let's just see how fast AS lies transpire when the placing he said is not needed according to some here, comes before end of this year.

If Tern can only ever be worth its NAV that would mean its investee companies, DA for example, could only ever be sold for its cost/NAV. Why would anyone pay more that what DA is worth, defined in this erroneous scenario as its NAV in Tern's balance sheet. How then can Tern ever make a profit. Like all trades, Tern seeks to buy at one price and sell at another and higher price having added value.
If a company makes widgets for £1 and sells them for £3, its stock of widgets is shown in the balance sheet at £1 each. Would it sell them for £1 if it could sell them for £3? I don't understand why this confuses some people.

Why would the FD buy shares, when the FD in any company is more privy to placings and dilution than anyone else.

It would never attract any new investments either.

NAV rerates when tern starts spinning off the sales, once the cycle starts there will be less of a news blackout.

Think you've missed the point, the point is, it's overvalued as DA was not bought for a lot, so it's already included in the price.I see how AS avoided answering why he couldn't raise $10m!!!!!

If he'd just said that the target projected revenue at DA OF 5.1m is on track, it would be abundantly clear.

Two words more needed...

I've emailed redleaf to get clarity on those figures, I'm not convinced he meant the ones being quoted. So thought I would check.

Plenty of news this Month coming and the news that revenues are on target at D/A is something the shorters do not want to hear.

Fat Albert clearly stated that 'revenue' was very small and on aggregate revenue for this year for portfolio companies would go up by 50%!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
