At 170p yield would be even greater. I'm happy with 10% ;-), but I'd happily take more at a lower price. Swings and roundabouts.

Yep an outright comment that the interest rate would go up once brexit is settled !

BoE was a bit "bullish" on interest rates yesterday, so that may not have helped builders; along with the Persimmon (and others?) scandal and the leasehold scam, as mentioned above.

Tlobs2. This is not the place to discuss views on BREXIT. A final word, construction is different to equipment supply. There are no stocks and contracts are lumpy. The BREXIT vote created a storm of price increases and loss of confidence to proceed with prjects that a small business could not easily adapt to.
As for house building TW. and others need to modernise and adopt modern methods of construction.
