IMHO these are holding up very well considering the uncertainty surrounding Brexit, Once things are sorted the markets will fly. I don't think a no deal will be anywhere near as bad as people first thought & whilst I am not a fan of Boris leading the country he is certainly not as stupid as many of us think. I personally don't see Corbyn ever getting in to power not now he wants to tax everyone on the profits made from selling there homes as this will effect thousands of home owners all of which are potential voters, This I think will almost certainly be the end of his leadership of the Labour party & could discredit the Labour party for many years to come.

I personally think next week this will be above 160 now the pre XD traders have now closed their positions selling in strength, I think this will have a steady climb and the MM's have done an absolute fantastic job controlling the share price in a narrow trading range.

The fundamentals of this stock are 10/10 they don't get no better than this and TW. Must have one of the best accountants in this Country on board, take my word for I am a very good fundamentalist and understand them in great detail and I can tell you that the accountant that advises TW. Certainly knows his/her biscuits.

Gbh2,

Not really a dire performance in my eyes I think the MM's are doing a very good job, I think people who trade CFD's are closing their long positions from before XD and selling into strength because the interest rates on their positions will be coming against them and hence taking a profit, it makes sense really, I think when this done and dusted the share price will be back over 160

Seems to be struggling with recovery from XD, seems to be in a little trading range, it tries to push then there’s profit taking and back down again.

I think UK rates could drop, but I don't think it would stimulate housing stocks, as economic outlook would be negative for it to happen.

The FED in USA announced that there could be multiple interest rate drops in coming year, do you think UK rates could drop, which would again stimulate housing stocks?

In the last three years,AstraZeneca and Smith&Nephew have risen 50% while TW.are a third lower than just before the referendum.Yes,I know..mustn’t forget the dividends. If you’d followed the lead of a weakening sterling, you wouldn’t have gone far wrong.I’m happy enough to hold TW.but it’s one of the few domestics I do hold in an ISA.

Agreed. The media keep using the meaningless wage growth outstripping cost of living growth. And also, that employment is rising. Both of which are true. BUT it is income AFTER housing costs which is the key to standard of living.

Here's something for Boris to think about, when he is giving tax cuts to the rich!

"High housing costs, low pay and insecure hours are holding many people back, despite more people moving into work."

Get a Japanese micro sized car. Ugly yes, but manufactured to fit on small drives :-)

Downsizing can also be considered for cars! :))

I assume the drive is the same size as when they viewed it, or have the tectonic plates shifted. Many houses have small spaces for bikes, prams, bins, access etc.
Many Londoners have multi million pound homes with no driveway at all.
I have sympathy for those that buy l/h with onerous clauses and may not have the understanding, but people do need to use their own eyes as to whether a property is suitable for their own needs.

"According to UK planning law the minimum space required for a drive to fit a standard car is 7ft 10ins by 15ft 9ins (2.4m by 4.8m) - the site appears to comply with this. "

Or from another perspective - what sort of idiot architect/builder, designs/builds a house with a drive where they couldn't get out of their car!

I believe the term is 'not fit for purpose'.

Can't help but wonder what type of idiot would by a house with a drive down which they couldn't get out of their car.
