Why is it that when the sector falls, TW is at the forefront, falling further than most. Then when the sector rises, TW is the slowest to rise?

Brexit will never happen the Eu won't let it because they Know full well that others will leave. I wouldn't be surprised if the Eu offered the uk a sweetener to stay in over the next few months, Although it is about time Britain stood firm against the Eu.

There is a real problem recruiting qualified tradesmen for us smaller builders, not many of the youngsters want to do a proper apprenticeship but they believe their worth 40k plus after 2 years training. Labour costs are going up along with materials. NHBC spend 60M on repairs to new builds each year, that tells you something.

Or perhaps there's a real concern that if Brexit happens,a wave of Eastern Europeans will leave the country and there won't be enough English left to build houses. In fact maybe we've forgotten how!😕

I can't see the justification in this bashing today!!not buying the potential exit from the EU,How is that supposed to affect uk housebuilders.

I'd like to think it was a final tree shake before the results but as its across the sector I can only hope for better things next week.

Re date of dividend, the ex date will be announced with the results & the amount hopefully.

agree BVS results very good but it was all priced in. CNBC interviewed the CEO this morning if anyone is interested, BVS did say they would address Brexit when they had more info. I do hold here and my only concern is the exposure to London market as Brexit will have an effect if it does occur. I hold GFRD also and they have exposure to London albeit JV's and they seem a little concerned at the frothy prices. GLA
