26/3/2020 07:56 | Basically businesses can’t control. It’s across the board as they are all so very dependant on imports, workers, and systems that no longer work effectively. The virus will be in waves long drawn out . | ![]() 1 nhs

26/3/2020 07:27 | Read my posts. I have a large core holding. I sold some at 200 and 220. I bought back in at 115. On a side note, why the hello is anyone engaging with nhs1? Wasted energy and time. | ![]() craftyale
26/3/2020 03:16 | Some fair points. One note from me, this BB is full of those who have made it, and got it. They have the house , pension and wealth. Top 3% Experience keeps telling them house are a great investment and are safe. They can’t understand they could fall for 20 straight years. They only know inflation | ![]() 1 nhs

25/3/2020 20:18 | The consequences of this coronavirus will be far reaching. For example,in TWs recent statement they make reference to their past stress tests. In future, those stress tests will necessarily have to include allowance for the possible return of virus 2 or even 3.Taylor W. like all its sector constituents and many other companies are likely to adopt a more conservative approach to distributing money to shareholders. All the more likely if a company has had to draw upon government largesse.Dividend policy, globally, could well be a good deal less generous going forward. | ![]() steeplejack

25/3/2020 15:18 | Steeple - it's not the repayments that stop youngsters getting on housing ladder. Most are paying way more in rent. It is the deposit, if they have no relatives to help out. | ![]() m4rtinu
25/3/2020 14:54 | 1 NHS I have heard all this before going back 30 years nothing has changed,& unless we build more houses its not going to change & one thing you will definitely not do is stop me from investing. | ![]() jugears
25/3/2020 14:47 | When I was 25,mortgage interest rates were around 12% and the two bedroom flat we purchased was £22500 which would probably sell now for £300,000 plus. It's never been easy getting on the housing ladder when you're young but historically low interest rates make funding a house purchase on a monthly basis more manageable .The houses would be more affordable if there were MORE houses on the market. | ![]() steeplejack

25/3/2020 13:03 | NHS1 TW employ 2000 direct labour according to Pete Redfern & not as you stated on another post,With interest rates now being so low & I would think very unlikely to go up for a good few years or more, This should have a positive effect on house purchasing, Not only that there is so much money waiting to be re invested back in to the market that you could very well see these back to £2.30 with in 3 months irrespective of the financial cost TW may incur, Because right or wrong we are all eager to invest & make money. I would be happy for these to return to £2.30 in twelve months but you can never anticipate the markets, For now I am happy to invest here @£1 + or - 10 p | ![]() jugears
25/3/2020 11:35 | So the market went back up yesterday on the USA pumping another 2 trillion on the fire. Let’s ask, what happens when loan rates jump. ? Defaults That’s why it’s absolutely pointless, buying this, any share, bond , or property . | ![]() 1 nhs
25/3/2020 11:03 | Thank-you Steeplejack. I have to say I've been surprised from the start every country seems to be addressing problem same way and doubly surprised there hasn't been media comment on how all are pulling in same direction for once, in contrast to when likes of Trump can't agree on planetwide green issues. | ![]() dr_smith |
