it's like playing with face up cards. Paradoxically this lag in the way it is priced allowed people to not sell too early. As long as the wind blows this is fantastic. I read a lot of articles saying that the experts think that the attitude of the consumers toward the bikes industry is not just a temporary moda due to the virus but a more drastic change in the colture and in the mobility in general. Who knows.. I'm 90% sure for this year though. I belive 2021 eps is really tuff to predict, and considering that this p/e riflect the expectations, I expect big surprises.

trading at 9x last years earnings and having a 90% uplift in early season sales ( 11 weeks) I can see why you fancy them moving up.

Where is there better value in the market ?

Is it too early to be having a stab at what we may expect in EPS this year?

Headwinds are increased raw material costs and freight. ( much of this passed on )

Clearly the positives are the opening up of non essential shops and leisure facilities.

We must be looking at a 25% increase falling to bottom line?

That would take us to 85p.

However I think that might need revising upwards at the half way stage or when we get a trading update.

Looks like there won't be much European travel after yesterday's downbeat conference. Good for UK Market and I see Tandem moving up a tad.

Davidosh I exaggerated a little, infact I do some research but as a private investor its a hoby but a lucrative one. For me its been infinitely easier to make money on the stockmarket compared to working for a living. That's why when I see Directors who have made money from building a Company I don't begrudge them a single penny.
Its obviously different for a professional investing other peoples money. Indeed financing start ups and raising money for Companies is a very important role. On the other side I have observed from some of my other AIM shares that raising money with very low risk can be very lucrative and often at the expense of the private investor. I think reform of the AIM market is long overdue to give the private investor a better opportunity in such fund raising.

amt says....For me it will have been an easy process of pressing a few buttons on a key board. I am not sure I will have earnt the profits though as its required very little effort on my part.

You look at investing as if a trader pressing buttons.

For me it is very long days of research, lots of site visits, time spent at hundreds of Agms, quality checking products and services and a not insignificant amount of capital that had to be hard earned before it could be invested.

If I make a bad decision I can lose up to 100% of that capital invested. I see companies especially in the early stages that depend on me to keep them going and some may become world beaters but without investors they stay on a drawing board.

Never forget investors are not just pressing buttons.....traders may do it that way but most genuine investors are playing a very important role and need to be respected

I dont see any reason why a Directors sale of a small proportion of his shareholding should be seen as a negative. There are many reasons why a Director might sell shares and give no indication of where they might think the share price might be a year ahead.
In this case he looks to me that he has earned every penny.
For investors it's an opportunity to buy shares although I didn't because I already have a large holding. One day I will cash in hopefully at an even higher price simply because I will need the money to spend on various things. For me it will have been an easy process of pressing a few buttons on a key board. I am not sure I will have earnt the profits though as its required very little effort on my part.

I put my order in for 10k at 2.55.
I have 1000 shares and they just pushed the price up after working my order.

The MM are playing games.
Under £6.00 is completely false.
Remember 68p eps and sales up 90% in the first 11 weeks.

talk last night at MELLO was 100/120p eps !!

Could be a good opportunity to buy, I don't see any problem about it, As long people scramble for bikes and the starter numbers are true, the current price still cheap.nobody in the world knows the future.

This is a fact :) decathlon is empty, and it doesn't even cover all the uk big cities , so a lot of opportunities for smaller sellers

Hope that doesn't put a spoke in the share price rise just as I thought we were in for a gear change, on come the brakes. Somewhat deflating.

He is only selling about 16% of his overall shareholding and still has 4% of the company so not exactly giving up just making an adjustment maybe because he wants to live life in retirement now not when he is past being able to enjoy it.

Following the above transactions, Steve Grant holds 210,000 ordinary shares in the Company, representing 4.1 per cent of the Company's issued share capital.

I know he was straight onto the golf course yesterday.....my question would be

Does he have Ben Sayers golf clubs? lol
