11/3/2021 10:26 | Now that this move has been announced it should be perfect timing with results out in two weeks to arrange a presentation at our Mello results roadshow on the 29th March. I will give Jim a ring today to see what can be done. I do think this land deal will need more explanation to show the ROI and gain understanding from investors and shareholders | davidosh

01/3/2021 07:40 | Never quite sure how much of a read across there is with Halfords but the stuff on cycling from today's update is interesting at least:- Cycling has seen LFL growth rates improve as supply disruption has eased, although overall supply remains sub-optimal. Cycling LFL over the period was +43%, with our unique and exclusive range of kids and adult mechanical bikes performing well, along with our performance cycling business, Tredz, which continues to see exceptional growth, up +60% LFL in the period. | cwa1

20/2/2021 20:03 | Solooiler......Which Mello Monday or Mello conference did you attend? The BASH is consistently the top rated session on the show and the audience actually take part and vote too. The panelists are fund managers, well known investors, research analysts and market commentators. They are not perfect but the quality is a very high standard. Anyway it is for entertainment and to help investors go off to do their own research which no doubt they will if so many get a fresh opportunity to hear about Tandem. | davidosh
20/2/2021 17:34 | Solooiler You are assuming the rest of the 3 hours contains no useful information ? I strongly disagree but its your £20. Mello are trying to get TND to present this year and I hope they do. With no analysts following the stock its down to shareholders to value the shares. I have many years financial background and activity in the stock market but I am always prepared to listen to others even if I only act on 1`100 of what I hear or see. All the best tiger | castleford tiger
20/2/2021 16:12 | £20 and its not even the company presenting but I presume a few people just talking about the stock? no thanks, can get that for free here. my experience of the bash stocks is that half the time they dont really know what they are talking about because they have only looked at the stock for what sounds like an hour maximum | solooiler
20/2/2021 15:33 | TANDEM fans attention. The fantastic MELLO series that's on Monday night have a slot on TANDEM. Well worth paying to be part and to see what's to be said. tIGER | castleford tiger
18/2/2021 14:59 | Even if it still cheap to me, this stock performed extraordinary well if you were in 1 year ago "not my case". I think it has a lot to show yet. When numbers will be out if they are good it can only go up, this is probably the bitter sweet of the less analyzed stocks | gabrielsant
18/2/2021 13:32 | I think everyone is distracted buying Cryptocurrency related shares. Some of the moves there are staggering. Once that bubble bursts perhaps investors will return to more traditional investments. Its the dotcom bubble all over again but good fun while it lasts. | amt
18/2/2021 09:44 | I think a little bit of capital gain tweaking going on in these shares. It gives us all the chance to pick a few more up ( should we want to ) ahead of confirmed numbers. Spring is coming and the busy season. tiger | castleford tiger
16/2/2021 18:52 | No not quite Year 1 the money is spent and its year 2 the extra profit flows through. That could continue into year 3 and add another 20p The 20p extra eps will come as a result......... of the 7/10 million investment. However I have assumed we get to 5m profit and eps of 100p to get my £10.00 target. I am assuming in year 2/3 the bicycle market business slows but by then the investment and cost savings will maintain us at 100p eps Depending on the increases in D2C sales we may well go past 100 but its too far out to be sure. | castleford tiger
16/2/2021 05:51 | Ct So in simple terms, you seen to be suggesting: i) additional 20p eps from cost saving in say 2022 and continuing thereafter with a tx of £7m cash to fixed asset ii) an additional 20p eps from trading per annum say in 2022, continuing thereafter and growing iii) both of the above on top of the incremental eps growth from the company's current trading/cost cutting In that case we are looking 125p to 150p eps in 3 years or less As you say DYOR | bwm2
15/2/2021 18:21 | I certainly do not think we can ignore. However if we deduct the 120p to get to 400p then your estimate of eps 69.4 means we trade under 6x historic. This drops in the current year to 4.2 to 4.6 x earnings. Whichever that's far too cheap. I happen to think they have a plan to spend what could now be as much at 7.5m in cash. It was discussed at the investors presentation and Jim made it clear it would have to increase eps in the same year. I have an idea as to the plan and it would involve adding 1m to the bottom line in year 1 and the majority of the cash would be spent on a real asset with maybe a small part taken as a one off cost ( re organisation). Year 2 I would expect it to add 5m a year to sales extra at high margin with little extra costs and therefore add another million to bottom line. So we could be making 6 m a year with assets up by 7 plus million. I am amazed that these shares are still under £8 and my £10 target may have to be revised up. Simon bragg by adding has probably done the same calculation. tiger please DYOR | castleford tiger
15/2/2021 13:06 | CT Interesting point On the one hand you can deduct from the 520p and re calc the p/e or you can assume that it will be used for an earnings enhancing project and add 20p to the eps in 2022 What are your thoughts? | bwm2
15/2/2021 12:37 | Bwm2 Have you ignored the cash pile which is well over 100 p a share? Tiger | castleford tiger
15/2/2021 10:09 | You could add a pound or 2 to the net asset value per share if they make 84p so looks even better value. A further positive is the pound continues to rise and could do further as vaccine rollout points to early recovery. Pe ratio of ft 100 index is over 23 despite a very tough year ahead and rising pound. The very low interest rate environment is pushing up pe ratios. | amt
12/2/2021 16:18 | cannot disagree with that | castleford tiger |
