It is astonishing that we are languishing down here will the level of known info out there compared to other Covid-19 stocks. I am sure we will see a run up towards a £1 as we get close to these results being released

I did wonder the same thing China dog, but to the south of Southampton also happens to be The Isle of Wight, which is where the Codid19 track and trace app is being trialled. Potentially you could see Track, Trace and Treat all working in harmony.. Also, there is a large retired population on the Isle of Wight so that may also be a consideration.Primarily though I think it is more to do with the proximity to Synairgen's operating base, although I just watched the video and it says if necessary this trial could be expanded across the country...

Good interview. Clearly a lot of effort has been put into organising the Home trial. He was unsure on end date depending on level of infection in the community - hoping for late Summer. It does sound ambitious, my dad is in his 80s and lives alone, he has trouble answering his landline phone, not much chance of him managing a zoom consultation. He doesn't have a PC or smartphone.

Someone mentioned on LSE that Synairgen’s involvement may prejudice it’s independence.
Dunno what people think?

I was more concerned about recruitment and the ongoing PRINCIPLE trial ( quite different but via primary care). However, I think the sample size of 120 isnt overly ambitious and locality loyalties are on their side. SNG are also sorting the CV swab testing and have full control which is a big benefit too.

I already checked that concern.....a third of that area is indeed water ! However, it seems the rest has a population of circa 3.13m !

Possibly logistics. If the patient is stuck or has difficulty it would be easier to respond timely and involve a minimal team. If the patients illness escalates they can monitor and review /compare at Southampton general with any potential other persons that may need to be admitted. There is quite a large population in 40 miles, southampton, portsmouth, Bournemouth, Basingstoke etc . It makes sense to me as some will be on placebo and a quick logistics action needs to be performed if someone goes downhill on that.

Why restrict the home trial to 40 mile radius. To the South is sea so smaller still!

To be fair, a cursory scan of the six month chart would suggest to your average investor/punter that SNG has had its ‘COVID’ moment in reaching 50/60p, so a pause is expected.
Those longer-termers (ie. next 2 months....) will need patience.

I’ve read the RNS 3 times now. Share price to a degree takes in future potential. This just isn’t happening here. Off the back of that RNS we should be flying. Oh well. One day !

Well the spread is just .02p (bought some at 50.8 but can sell multiples of this at 50.65) A balanced book and the seller done (for today?)

I also wonder if they might open up any further trial centres? One in the USA would be excellent on a number of fronts.

Nobby what’s your take regarding the COPD early release of data. Does this mean they plan to unbind and release results with just the 109?

Royalalbert > Thats because DDDD have almost exactly the same issue (drug for Covid-19 treatment in development trials). I hold SNG, DDDD and AVCT for info. (and TEK too).
