28/5/2020 08:07 | Why tick this up 47-50 I can buy at 47 And sell at 47. FFS ! | ![]() peachie 74
28/5/2020 07:51 | FWIW we should not expect the seller to change his strategy. The sells are automated, regardless of news, so 200/300k dumped in first hour. The candlesticks charts show it’s been going on since end March. The only thing that will change things imho is buying in volume - say, 5-10m. | ![]() wetdream
28/5/2020 07:51 | RM said summer for home trials. I know it's cautiously vague, but it all depends on speed of recruitment in the home trials. Fingers crossed for August, but summer *could* include September possibly...When Lockdown restrictions are eased shortly, it wouldn't be unreasonable to predict an uptick of new cases (particularly in coastal or more populated town or city environments) | the real capitalcity
28/5/2020 07:50 | on BLOOMBERG Synairgen PLC said Thursday that it has recruited 100 Covid-19 hospitalized patients for the clinical trial of its SNG001 inhaled drug candidate. The London-listed drug developer said that this is a double-blind, placebo-controlled trial in 220 patients, of which the other 120 aren't hospitalized. The group expects the results from the hospital setting in July, it said. SNG001 contains a protein which prevents or greatly diminishes cell damage and viral replication during respiratory infections. Chief Executive Richard Marsden said that a successful outcome from the trial "could be a critical step towards strengthening the fight against the Covid-19 pandemic." | ![]() markinvestor
28/5/2020 07:41 | Lets see today if the seller has finished...should move like a bloomin rocket if so with all the buys ! I really don't think the current price is reflective of the potential of this company. The share price always reflects some potential of what's to come, forward value. But here this is nowhere near due to the well discussed distressed seller. 98 ( maybe 100 now )Covid patients and there has been no bad news, ie the big worry of a medicine which is safety, bad reactions etc. This de risks things a great amount from an investment point of view. RM said this same thing (in the Proactive interview I think) | ![]() peachie 74
28/5/2020 07:41 | I'm long here...With what I'm hearing.....U will 10x your money !!My avg is 50p Not worried in any shape or form. This Virus is not going awayItaly + Spain are seeing increases .. and not being reported .. RIP | ![]() amaretto1
28/5/2020 07:39 | >> crookie The 28 days is from the start so four weeks from the start of treatment. That means last patient last visit will be 24th June. | ![]() nobbygnome

28/5/2020 07:34 | COPD results cannot be too far away. And a positive there would be massive, it is such a massive worldwide disorder | ![]() peachie 74
28/5/2020 07:33 | The RNS says results from the hospital setting will be announced in July. Presumably, the home setting results will be later than July. | ![]() ramridge
28/5/2020 07:32 | I think although the treatment was 14 days there was a 28 day follow up part of the trial protocol. Maybe they are able to start analysis of the results from the 14 days not sure. Either way I would not expect results until late July, when do you think we will get COPD results given it is only data analysis they need to do? June/July? I hope the new lad technicians are fully upto speed!! | ![]() crookie3634
28/5/2020 07:24 | It’s only 14 days treatment so in 2 weeks it’s over. I expect results early in July. | ![]() rafboy
28/5/2020 07:21 | 4-6 weeks for first news on results. That's a bit later than I thought. | ![]() imjustdandy
28/5/2020 07:06 | So all completed, add 28 days takes us to last week of June and the 3-4 weeks analysis, could July still be pushing it slightly? There will be a lot of lab time in June! | ![]() crookie3634
28/5/2020 07:02 | I am interested in the 3rd section of the placing money which was allocated for partnering discussions and progression of the COPD data. | ![]() crookie3634
28/5/2020 07:00 | Good forward planning, they are confident they will have the ability to produce volume quickly if successful and they can negotiate expedited approval to skip stage 3 of the process. | ![]() crookie3634
28/5/2020 02:02 | I see plenty of filtered "contributors" appearing recently. Shame when they ruin good BB's. Such is life. @anotherone17 - Please just FILTER trolls, replying to them just clutters up the board and produces a lot of blank posts in-between the decent posts. Back on track now I hope: The three comments from this write-up are worth sharing one after the other: 1) Professor Tom Wilkinson, Professor of Respiratory Medicine at the University of Southampton and Trial Chief Investigator, commented: "Expansion of the SG016 placebo controlled trial where we will be treating patients at the first sign of COVID-19 symptoms is something of a first and reflects the ingenuity and expertise of Synairgen and our researchers here at the University of Southampton. This novel approach is designed to reduce infection risks for both patients and front-line workers. Critically, it also allows us to gather clinical evidence for SNG001 more quickly, a treatment we believe could play a crucial role in tackling the COVID-19 pandemic." 2) Richard Marsden, CEO of Synairgen, commented: "We are really pleased to be able to expand the SG016 trial to patients in the home environment which enables us to test the drug much earlier in the course of the illness. If successful, we would hope to protect the lungs and prevent the development of the severe lower respiratory tract illness which puts the healthcare system under such strain. We have also been pleased with the progress of the SG016 trial in the hospital environment, having dosed 98 of 100 patients, and look forward to announcing top line data in July." 3)Professor Nick Francis, Professor of General Practice at the University of Southampton, commented: "This novel trial approach is essential for the ongoing health of those at higher risk because of increasing age or other risk factors. The approach could be rolled out across many areas of primary care involving the interaction with vulnerable patients, including the elderly, if it is successful. We are in desperate need of a treatment for COVID-19 that can be given to patients early in the course of the illness in order to prevent progression to severe symptoms." Nothing looks particularly negative in any of them from what I can see. If the price drops more from here surely it would be a buying opportunity for those with a bit of patience. Depending on how low we actually go from here, if that happens, I might well sell somewhere else to add. Should certainly be interesting over the next few weeks here. PS. I am also interested in what discussions may be going on behind the scenes in relation to: Presently, the Company is working with manufacturers, which will scale up for demand in SNG001. Taken from this interesting write-up too: | ![]() lauders
