I think that would be a good sign. Get rid of customer 'orders' if they aren't prepared to pay up. Quite clear the market doesn't 'believe' the £390m order book. Otherwise the stock wouldn't be valued at c.£4m

It’s been stated in historical presentations how much of a problem it would be to change supplier once Surface Transforms brakes have been engineered into a model. The only other ceramic brake manufacturer to global OEM’s Brembo are not a direct replacement as they don’t have the same properties or dimensions for the same braking performance.
The time and cost of doing so would be considerable so it’s no surprise that OEM 10 are being proactive in trying to keep ST producing their brakes, they are responsible for half of the £390M contracted pipeline and have been very supportive in the past even wanting ST to build their second production facility close to their own factory.

After selling out completely on the day of the preliminary results I’m back in for a punt in the hope that they will go the extra mile to keep ST alive.

Or maybe he's just there to ensure they get their discs before admin . It's all guess work and neither positive or negative what matters is financing ,without out it sce are bust simple

Yeah maybe he got told to take it down, he's kind of given the game away about one of the mystery OEMs. Does sound quite positive though and shows a big commitment by a client to making thus business work

That LinkedIn profile has changed the description of the work history to remove the reference to GM motors. It just says contractor for surface transforms now .

I wonder why this is? Perhaps he wasn't supposed to say he was working on GMs behalf...

Could it have been quid pro quo ?

In return for faster/upfront cash payments the OEM gets more say in / oversight over the manufacturing process ?

Maybe other OEMs offered similar or equivalent partnerships ?

Would be very encouraging as extends cash runway and demonstrates how onside their customers are. These US OEMs in particular very used to themselves or their suppliers operating in Chapter 11 administration/bankruptcy protection
