21/11/2024 19:36 | In contrast to that counsel of despair about British industry we do have the odd stand outs like Rotork and Renishaw right ? | thiopia
21/11/2024 10:16 | The issue is they needed a 100m investment on a factory with good engineers. The issue is we can't manufacture in the UK, the skill set doesn't exist and we can't raise money like they can in the US. UK is very good at service industries but hopeless when it comes to manufacturing. | amt
21/11/2024 09:58 | Either they’re utterly deluded and are gonna run this into the buffers - imminently - and the next RNS will be a de-listing… or… they’re working feverishly on a deal from which we may be able to salvage something. Very small. There should really be a text book on all these great British hopes that end in disastrous losses. I was wondering if in hindsight there was any one thing that could have made a difference. And perhaps getting StephenEaston in earlier would have helped. And Bundred out sooner. | major courtenay
21/11/2024 07:39 | "Ineos to restart production after four-month pause Stoppage at Grenadier factory was understood to be down to seat supplier Recaro filing for insolvency" An example of what can happen if one of your suppliers fails. Separately. I still think there is a small possibility that Sir Jim might fancy some good PR saving 170 jobs in Runcorn and expanding his automotive interests. Not likely I know and also not sure whether we would come out of that all that well. But getting 1p back now would be a result | bagpuss67
20/11/2024 21:04 | Missed out on really ..not sure how you work that out ,the only thing I missed out on was losing a fortune here and to me that is me winning not losing out pillock . | bones698
20/11/2024 10:38 | I feel a pps type rns coming here although they haven't even admitted they are looking for finance options or in discussions . Options are very limited and people simply won't give up cash easily so Amy financier would want a very big chunk in return. I feel it will end the same way as pps | bones698

19/11/2024 10:29 | What person doesn't apply for lots of jobs, varied ones too, when out of work? I hope he wins. | casholaa
19/11/2024 10:27 | Don't chemical engineers earn about 500k pa? | casholaa
19/11/2024 09:45 | I think you have me confused with another bones tbh because I didn't lose on here . Granted I didn't make much but I certainly didn't lose having bought at the 1p placing and selling at 1.65p . So maybe check who your addressing next time as you clearly have the wrong person in this instance . I have followed the company for nearly 20 years possibly longer but only decided to invest for the first time this year . Jumped in and out when I saw the red flags now it's not something I would buy into even as a gamble for now as I don't trust the bod one but and I described above there are more red flags than ever hence the price . | bones698
18/11/2024 22:22 | Unfortunately the chatter about unhappy employees and workplace added to my reasons for getting out well before the collapse . The story here has been one of total BS and delusion from the bod ,topped off by the new chair bailing out with 8 weeks of taking over . That has to be the clearest signal yet things here are a a lot worse than they appear . That's why it's valued at 2m for a start . Lots of talk of ways for funding but I don't know anyone who gives money away these days and expects nothing back it's just not how it works . Time has almost ran out now as bagpuss says must be running on fumes and will soon start having issues funding daily operations if not already . | bones698
18/11/2024 14:32 | Hope this chancer didn't cost them too much money. Suspect it cost them time though. | taperkick
18/11/2024 13:21 | Not sure how the 70m trade is still not reported. Unless somehow taking account of other trades it was less than 3% | bagpuss67
18/11/2024 12:03 | Surely absent any liquidity support cash would be extremely tight now. I'm not aware of any planned market equity fundraising. So how are the directors able to continue to incur credit and feel that they arent exposed to wrongful trading risks? I guess that they may have recieved some liquidity support from one or more OEMs to create a runway to implement their plan. Of course that plan has to be bridge to viability at this stage rather than kicking the can down the road. That must include better manufacturing performance as they suggested they could deliver when these latest downstream issues are sorted. So overall. The fact that they are still here and talking about a way forward does offer some hope to those remaining invested albeit we must remain braced for the worst. | bagpuss67
