16/12/2021 15:08 | Might be a constraint on what a combined holding might be. Them guys in compliance don't just sit around updating their linked in y'know. They do some work now and then :-) | swiss paul
16/12/2021 13:47 | I have updated the header with the OEM6 nomination and holdings. I hadn't noticed previously but it seems that Hargreave Hale no longer have a significant position. Looks like they may have merged with Cannacord Genuity but that combined entity appears to have disposed of quite a few shares since last year. | longshanks
16/12/2021 13:24 | Good to see in particular the FD buying 20k more shares at 56.7p - usually the lowest paid exec director and not one of those with substantial wealth behind them. Plus the guy with the best "inside" knowledge: | rivaldo
16/12/2021 12:53 | Just managed to buy another 3k at 53.4 didn't expect to do that today eith this mornimgs RNS, stale bulls whive bought in higher bailing or earnings not starting until 2023 putting folk off? Happy to wait. | wednesday6

16/12/2021 12:35 | Very droll! | knownowt
16/12/2021 11:51 | Ring ring ring ring (to the sound of Z cars) “Hi David, Kevin here – you know we agreed to release the news about the furnace at the last board meeting?” “Yes Kevin, I instructed the Nomad to prepare the RNS, the day before yesterday, why do you ask?” “Well I just had A-M on the phone and he said they are ready to sign the contract extension so I thought we could combine into one RNS” “OK Kevin - I will check with the Nomad, – I’ll call you back” 10 minutes later Ring ring ring ring (to the sound of You’ll never walk alone) “Hi Kevin, sorry they said it would be published on the 14th and if so they can’t to pull it from the system, and anyway we are doing what we agreed at the board meeting, which is the right thing to do” “Damn David, because the share price will fall on the news” “Well Kevin, if it does then that nuisance Toffeeman may get his opportunity to buy below the last raise price” “That’s true David, and when we release the subsequent news and the share price rises 25% above where he purchased he will be extremely happy, AND we will have followed due process – which is the right thing to do”. “OK Kevin, see you tomorrow and please remember that I do like musk if you are thinking of buying me a suitable present for Christmas” | toffeeman
16/12/2021 11:40 | Mr Market is odd. In January the share price is 56p, when they announce the Placing at 50p. It is oversubscribed. There is a “revenue pipeline” of £43m, but much of that is not yet contracted. Since then, they have 1) won a new contract with OEM5 2) won a new contract from one of the world’s largest manufacturers OEM10 3) announced that OEM8 volumes may greatly exceed previous guidance 4) announced that capacity of £75m might be reached a year early in 2024 5) that the capex required will be £10m less than thought 6) today announced £45m of new contracts with OEM6 7) today announced that the contracted order book is now £115m And the share price is........56p No, David, I don’t understand it either !! | graham1ty
16/12/2021 09:53 | I beg to suggest that the list above on the ADVFN chat-page for SCE does not constitute the public arena; when the manufacturer starts advsrtising SCE product as a selling point it most certainly will be in the public arena. However, I do agree with you, it is excellent news. | knownowt
16/12/2021 09:35 | Excellent news. @ knownout - look at the list of OEM customers above. | bdaonion
16/12/2021 09:12 | Excellent news, although the timing is somewhat odd. No matter, onwards and upwards.....hopefull A big upgrade on the OEM 8 deal would be most welcome. | albert_einstein
16/12/2021 08:49 | Toffeman clearly they hadn't got the contract when the previous RNS was announced or that it was going to be signed two days later or I am sure they would have waited 2 days before giving update. | amt
16/12/2021 08:44 | Well played buying @ 42p on Tuesday! | markm1980
16/12/2021 08:39 | They are winning very large contracts and this has all the hallmarks of growing into a very large company | amt
16/12/2021 08:27 | Yes a huge re rating today. 80p ? | amt
16/12/2021 08:24 | Well done holders … | gripfit
16/12/2021 07:56 | I suspect that 85p will be adjusted upwards given the visible cash flows have increased by from 70 million to 115 million. ? | jangaman
16/12/2021 07:50 | Kevin has been quite open that what keeps him awake at night is execution risk. Can SCE actually scale up production. Until Tuesday, it was a concern, but everything was fine. Tuesday raised the spectre of production problems. To be sorted out “imminently Well, today’s RNS answers this concern slap bang between the eyes. OEM6 have not the slightest concern. They ( and presumably OEM8) will have been kept in touch about any furnace issues on a daily basis. They will have been all over SCE “can you actually deliver ?”. And they are satisfied. Hooray. Now we just wait for the OEM8 announcement “early in the New Year”. Happy Christmas to all at Knowsley | graham1ty
16/12/2021 07:45 | A great piece of news showing the investment in new capacity has been well timed and planned. The move from R&D lab to full scale manufacturer - cash sink to cash cow - is almost complete.Well done KJ and the team. | longshanks
16/12/2021 07:39 | Zeus new research, target price 85p. Up on Research Tree | graham1ty
16/12/2021 07:34 | David, Kevin, we never doubted you for a second 😂😂 | graham1ty
16/12/2021 07:31 | Christmas presents for the family back on. | balcony
16/12/2021 07:25 | Wow - £45m :o)) The order books are now above £115m.... SCE's quality is evident from the CEO's comments here: "Kevin Johnson (CEO) said "We are delighted to be deepening our relationship with OEM 6 including moving from tier 2 to tier 1. We also note that this is now the third example of demonstrating our ability to win carry-over contracts after having won the first award." And more to come... "We expect to win further contracts in the new financial year across our range of existing and new customers" | rivaldo |
