There was no buying to be had, so far as I could make out in the first half our. Picked up £10k at 47, which was the best i could do.

fall massively overdone and the picture still looks good medium/ long term.

"SURFACE TRANSFORMS (SCE): CORP FY trading update, some production slippage SCE has published a full-year trading update in respect of the year ending December 2021. The update highlights some production ramp-up challenges in Q4 relating to the CVI furnaces, which have now been resolved. As a result, three batches of production have slipped into FY2022, equivalent to c£2.25m of sales. It is important to note that these sales have not been lost. More positively, SCE has flagged that OEM 8 has been exploring capacity availability for significant volume increases with all of its suppliers, indicating there may be potential for upside to our FY2022 forecasts. Further contract awards are also expected in the near future. Our target price remains 69p/share."

Well from my perspective it was an opportunity below the last placing price so I bought some for my mum and daughter as well as for me - 1 widow, but daughter not an orphan yet :)

I agree-some of us can guess who OEM 8 is so a disproportionate hit in my view.Market isn’t kind I’m afraid but the reality is a 3 month slippage

Q4 revenue risk was flagged in the 13 Sept 21 half year Financial Report, since when the price has drifted downwards, so perhaps some of the downside is already baked into the price. Zeus Capital's DCF calculation valued SCE at 85p, I seem to recall and I don't see how a one quarter slippage will have a huge impact on that. Also it looks like very good news regarding the demand from OEM 8. Massive buying opportunity here - if you can get any. It seems I'm not the only one thinking this given how hard it is to buy these right now ...

How can it take two quarters to recover such a small loss of revenue for a delay of one month in the current year.
The share price has been hammered recently so should already be in the price but I still expect a fall.
