MMX - forecasts are for sales of $8m and costs of $16m. Way to go.

Shares in issue in 2010 - 284m, and now: 792m.

Dividends paid over this period: none

It's a device for transferring wealth from shareholders to the company, at which it is becoming increasingly effective.

Domain names are irrelevant now - google has seen to that.

One for the numpties.

I know it's internet connected but MMX is worth a look.Millions in the bank great domains, now in profit, new names to launch...plenty going on and .vip selling huge amounts of names in China, and will be paying a divi in the not too distant future...imo.
Premaitha is also worth a look, after the court case with Illumina has finished

If you just want a continual loss-making tech. then AIM is littered with those - get the dartboard out - there's plenty of 'might be part of the xxx revolution' ones. I presume you want something like SRT that has shown signs of making a profit, has orders and not just a gambling stock. Which does narrow things down a lot. I think you need a list of your own to work through. Most of what you'll get suggested here are ones that issue placings all the time and don't have a unique market position at all. A list of AIM companies is quite interesting to work through. A lot won't feature on these boards at all.

Countryman5 - I am sure many of us share your wish but it's a difficult task.
I would actually prefer something less dependent on the sluggish and fickle proceedures of government agencies than SRT. This possibly rules out SYS and PEN.
I also like (and have recently entered) ZYT.
I think energy storage is a big future market and imho Lithium is being overrated in this respect. So alternatively I am looking at redox type flow systems as large storage is somewahat separable from the reactor unit. (I probably explain it badly.) Anyway, a British participator in this field is RedT Energy [RED] which is pioneering a Vanadium Oxide system of modular construction. An attractive idea with a potentially much longer life than rechargeable batteries but likely to prove a bumpy ride with a dependence on alliances for bulk manufacture and no guarantee of becoming a market leader at the end.

EDIT: For SYS above, please read SSY (which is rather different!)

Might be worth checking out ITM as they stand a very good chance of playing a leading role in the forthcoming hydrogen economy. Reasonably priced as out of favour but could break out at any time as continually securing new business. Only doubt is can the quality of management pull off the massive opportunity? Also should be at breakeven about now with £20m+ level of forward order book under contract.

If you decide to have a look please let me know what you think.

I think you'll struggle to find manufacturers. They've either been going for years and just not got a reliable defendable market position, or they're still in loss trying to get traction. fwiw I think the absolute must is the IP or USP or genuine leading position, otherwise the smaller companies really struggle.

TRT - which I am over heavy in but the ITrack 2 seems to be getting good reviews and the fact you have GEC paying to use the TQS does suggest there is better to come. I believe Siemens is the big secretive European conglomerate. This probably due to a patent they filed last year using TQS.

The only downside is the cap does not yet meet your criteria.

Do not touch AFC would be my advice - but then I distrusted the management some years ago and no longer follow.

Countryman5, you might be interested in Zytronic (ZYT). Ticks everything on your list, except not currently out of favour! Impressive little company IMO.

AFC will need a cash call soon so stay clear until then imo. just another jam tomorrow aim outfit with testing going on forever and still probably years away from any decent contracts.

See what you think of AFC and another possibility is VRS both in early stages of development but moving toward commercialisation.

I would like to find another SRT to invest in. Must be AIM, have good management, low borrowing, a manufacturer with a unique place in the market, or a W B 'defensive moat' and a market cap in excess of £25 million. I don't like retail, commodities or internet services. I am looking to research a company that is currently out of favour and would value ideas.

t5 Yes, I also find the 'signs' from the "gallery" encouraging,; demonstrating evidence of promotions and developing contacts/contracts.
My observation yesterday was an attempt to note that the displayed photograph, within the gallery photo dated 3rd April, is a reminder of its connection to an initial contract signed in August 2015. :-)

LazyJ - No, the photo I was looking at is clearly dated yesterday - 3 April. It's a sign. For us.

No firm date, but just going by previous years a TU can be expected soon.

Various people have made mention of expecting results or a TU within the next week or so - does anyone have a firm date for this ?

t5 The photo within the stand showing ST signing documents with H.E.The Interior Minister is an earlier "Gallery" photo dated 19th August 2015.
