Yes, Piedro. No criticism intended. Just wary of hjb1's crystal ball gazing... 😂

We like hjb1 when he lets us keep our rose tinted spectacles !

I expect 75p before August.

Now is the time for hjb1 to start posting that the share price is overblown.
Get a bit of credibility if it drops back to 40p.
Rather than posting so much negativity when it was 30p.

Of course when a share price is doing well, the doomsters get a load of stick, which is hard to take for some.

Nothing new in the world of bb posting really is there ?

I'm getting confused. There seems to be VMS which is a system for monitoring and VMS which is a particular form of communication.

I hope someone can explain.

Also, Indonesia has had VMS since 2002

YUMYUM,

I assume that the Indonesian VMS data has been collected using the SRT system - {why would they have 2 systems?}.

Which case, its superiority over simple AIS is clearly demonstrated.

Thus, in the interests of fishery control, the means of data collection worldwide needs to be updated

And thanks to Indonesia for a peek into their capabilities

That's my logical reasoning which surely is at fault.

AIMHO.

27 to 28 June. Manila. Gov conference on enhancing maritime security. Technical innovation. Photo of ST on website? Gallery shows SRT being trialed? Conference opportunities for networking and announcements.

Piedro, thank you for your article. Very interesting although not quite sure the implications for SRT.

trident5,

If the VMS mentioned in the article refers to the SRT contract, then they seem to be quite advanced.

It is certainly apparent the superiority to simple AIS ...

Without Indonesia's VMS

With Indonesia's VMS

Agreed, diesel. A quarterly webcast will add visibility. More contract wins will also create a slightly more evenly spread revenue stream. When we get to £100m market cap that may help liquidity too.

I still expect a takeover. After ST's 75p and £1.25 share price targets/bonuses are reached. I have been buying, not selling.

At the moment I estimate SRT's p/e ratio, based on y/e March 2018, to be between 3 and 4. Way to go.
Admittedly just my estimate. Very much looking forward to finnCap's forecast including vsp. Sometime in June?

Another first rate piece of communication with shareholders. The talk was concise and clear on what we will be hearing in future and also a regular time. Very satisfying to have quality management .

The strategic moves, particularly GVeos, are showing how classy the company is. One very happy holder.

the article you linked to - suggests Indonesia is going live next month?!

Two quick points from the webcast aiui:
The order book related to mandated projects looks slightly lower than you might think judging by the announced "orders", but that to me is an indication of good progress with fulfilling those orders which means work has gone from order book to invoice stage.

And perhaps my "glass half full" instead of half empty reading, of what was said about fluctuations in the value from those estimated at time of order announcement, but the fact that ST mentioned order values may go up or down as work progresses makes me wonder again about the huge potential for increase in the far east contract assumed to be Indonesia. If GOI was considering a major expansion of the project there would be room to double or triple it easily imho, although it looks a little early for this to be under consideration.

Better reception for listening to TMS at sea perhaps.

I must watch webcast again to check, but I got the impression that the new antenna would be a serious game changer with possible applications beyond AIS?

Interesting that Africa got mentioned. Wasn't on SRT's radar a year or so ago.

It's obvious there's lots happening but Simon is clearly very constrained about what he can say publicly both regarding projects but also regarding R&D specifics. That must make it harder for new investors to feel comfortable. No wonder he thanked Bahrain for being so open.

I agree with TP as usual, they have now definitely just hit the sweet spot as the WIP is a substantial sum and will only get bigger. We must be now talking about tens of millions in profits going forward and therefore hundreds of millions in valuation terms !!!!

Good post TP.
IMHO the $100m order book looks a tad light. The Far East contract of March 16 was reported to be worth $100m alone and we have had several contract announcements since then.
Interesting news re performance of HF-AIS and development of new antenna.
ST commented that SRT 'look forward to a very good year ahead'.
Final results on Wednesday 7th June should make interesting reading.
