It looked like the offer dried up and there were no shares. I'd be surprised if it was some leaky trading (i.e TU) as SRT has historically been very tight.

Could be anticipating a TU next week?

Must have been tipped somewhere; it was quiet all morning then shot up.

Where's the resident nostradamus, wasn't he promising us that we could pick these up for 20p soon? That looks to be a very poor prediction. He's gone a bit quiet, may be he is learning something. OD

Something afoot?

Perhaps it's the £80m of revenue that is due to hit the balance sheet over the next 2 years. Not bad for a £40m cap company with gross margins of circa 50%

Big Data Makes Smuggling Harder to Hide
Israeli firm Windward was founded to collect, vet and analyze AIS, along with a variety of other commercial data sources on maritime traffic ... ...

- do SRT use their software?

...but as hjb1 might rightly say, it is not exactly a 'deliverable'. It does not offer 'handholding' comfort or clarity. Where is the cash...and profit on the bottom line? I think the 'deliverable' concept was a bad one at the outset and I would hope to see that concept of reporting retracted by SRT. National defence is an extremely sensitive issue.

ST's next target is 75p per share. The one after that is £1.25.

Mine is a bit higher, for the takeover.

Think you've hit the nail the head there kinbasket. This is clearly not a trivial contract or we would have been told it's $nnn worth. There's no point in hiding a small value. So, I assume it's quite a big value and as such SRT do not wish or need to tell anyone how much their customer is paying. It will simply appear as revenue further down the line at which time we won't know how much comes from A or B or C.

Dolores, it may not be just the country that wants to keep the value secret. Who is paying how much and for what is also contractually sensitive for SRT. They are busy negotiating contracts with the neighbours after all.

Why would a country want to keep its AIS etc capability secret? Wouldn't it help to deter the bad boys??

Could the amount give a hint as to the country concerned and thereby mean a lot of conjecture that may be accurate? I CAN understand why it would not be mentioned.

With one day left to the year end maybe they have not finalised the amount yet but need positive news in advance of what could be a dissapointing trading update?
