31/3/2021 22:15 | Well it looks like the Middle East contract that was spanning the last year end, and triggered the disappointing numbers, has now spanned this one too-I’m sure we would have heard by now. So we must be relying on the Philippines to deliver revenue and cash. | pinkfoot2
30/3/2021 22:56 | Not to overlook an old pot of jam. Mine’s still awaiting opening. Simon says shelf life is good. Better be. | alter ego
30/3/2021 21:23 | In the last podcast Mr T alluded a couple of times to the contents of his briefcase, and that they would answer all our questions about progress and number of contracts etc. In darker moments I sometimes wonder about the contents of that briefcase, and picture an old copy of Viz and a half eaten Greggs pasty. But then optimism returns and I look forward to the promised land again. Hey Ho ..... another H2 ends tomorrow. | goodapple
30/3/2021 21:16 | There is always an IF and BUT!! Never happens. Never mind there is always that £500 zillion VSP to keep us happy. Must be short of cash now too. | hjb1
30/3/2021 20:56 | Philippines accuses China of incursion. 200 militia boats were spotted near a disputed reef in the South China Sea. The coastguard detected the boats. The Defense Secretary, Delfin Lorenza said. 'We call on the Chinese to stop this incursion and immediately recall these boats violating our maritime rights and encroaching into our sovereign territory. This is clear provocative action of militarising the area'. It appears that China is now prepared to take on all Countries and her neighbours are being bullied. My understanding is that the PCG has been looking to buy a SRT system, when funds permit. Covid is putting pressure on numerous budgets but how important is the security threat? Another unknown is whether UK foreign aid is being directed at schemes that give the Uk some payback. Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand and Cambodia are all in the same proverbial boat. They are being bullied by China which is happy to steal other countries' fish. There is an enormous market for SRT if the money can be found. | countryman5
30/3/2021 09:04 | end of year about now isn't it, is the imminent still imminent or does it mean keep the shareholders on a hook cause it could be another year or five even, their cost base must be going through the roof, i don't think this years numbers will look anything except dire, didn't they used to eek out a profit on closer to 10m revenue at one time, i notice it's now closer to 20m just to get to breakeven, that debt pile must be creeping up too, this philippine contract revenue has almost come and gone, consumed by the wage bill and nought to show for shareholders, so in effect, they're starting from scratch all over and shareholders are still waiting, lumpy contacts don't make for good cash flow do they, lumpy contracts that are not very imminent do not make for a good business model, this company raises money more regularly than it does in signing contracts, tells you something don't it, fair bit of shareholder dilution here as well over the years, will this year be 'the year'? wasn't last year supposed to be 'the year', or was it the year before that, all very imminent or maybe just a business that never really gets anywhere | homeboy
29/3/2021 22:57 | How about a contract signing operative? | pinkfoot2
29/3/2021 16:41 | The world becomes ever more strange. Does anyone know what a customer ops trainer does? Trains customers? Trains ops? Trains customer ops? Anyway, we seem to have acquired one of these. | lavalmy
22/3/2021 21:40 | "RIYADH: Saudi Arabia will stop signing contracts with foreign companies from 2024 unless their regional headquarters are based in the Kingdom. The rule will include agencies, institutions and government-owned funds, a statement on Saudi Press Agency said. The decision aims to incentivise foreign companies that deal with Saudi Arabia’s government to base themselves in the Kingdom." ........ SRT had better get that contract signed sharpish then, unless they want to change their letterheads to " Midsomer Norton • Cardiff • Riyadh " | goodapple
19/3/2021 20:07 | Whose technology is this? "novo sistema 3D do VTMIS do Porto de Vitória" `- new system 3D of VTMIS of the Port of Vitoria (Brasil) | piedro

14/3/2021 22:37 | Perhaps SRT should develop a Non Fungible Transponder. NFT’s are selling like hot cakes | alter ego
13/3/2021 10:25 | Indeed it does look very professional. The other recent photos also show a variety of ways of installing the VMS100 etc on boats which themselves don't look well cared for to put it politely. | alter ego
13/3/2021 09:16 | A late entry into the picture gallery is titled: 'One of two operational BFAR monitoring centres. Tracking +60,000 vessels daily with GEOVS IUU analytics'. Poetic licence? Marketing ahead of reality? A hint that more than the 5,000 has been pencilled in? Who knows. Looks slick in any case. | lavalmy
12/3/2021 09:12 | The bank of ancient bakerlite switches is old school! | philburt
12/3/2021 07:55 | Well spotted DylanL2. The kit looks great but the boat could do with a spruce up. | alter ego
11/3/2021 23:10 | We have some new pictures in the gallery if anyone's interested | dylanl2
09/3/2021 17:40 | You maybe right Lav but good companies live or die on cash-and that requires contracts that deliver cash. Having no guidance in the market is helpful but also indicative of a company with bumpy cashflow and trading.Covid is a good excuse however but the chat about dividends is very premature in my view | pinkfoot2
09/3/2021 17:33 | Couldn’t resist yet another top up. Generally found (over the last decade!)that the point at which my patience is running out is the moment ST comes good with an rns. So hopefully history will repeat itself. Come on ST - bring on the buses! | techno20
09/3/2021 16:19 | Quite the contrary if one can deal with the clutter. There seemed to me to have been a return to focussing on what they are there for, to wit to make and return money to us shareholders. They have always been that way inclined, but the upwards drift of overheads, especially for project work, seems to have been reconsidered with an emphasis on the local partner. Covid issues obviously had some input into that too. | lavalmy
09/3/2021 15:17 | All that chat about a dividend-unhelpful though it did create some price action. | pinkfoot2
09/3/2021 14:14 | I still think that they are expecting to be able to announce some before the year-end, though probably not revenues on them at this late stage. My reasoning being that they didn't issue any guidance about this year with the webcast when they should have known very well what the results would be, barring any rabbits out of the hat, which of course they don't need as there are no forecasts to hit. Two out of the six are further out, some 12 months or so. | lavalmy
09/3/2021 13:18 | I seem to remember a comment about contract(s) being signed 'within a matter of days' too. Admittedly, 365 is a 'number of days' but I'm hoping for more 'imminent' than that! | fredfishcake
09/3/2021 13:00 | Well, 3 weeks or so to see what happens. MBS in Saudi probably has other things on his mind atm. ATB | extrader |
