22/12/2020 10:53 | Excellent find and thanks for posting Mick. This sounds like the project that they hired Mr Lester for earlier on this year, so maybe that has progressed to the point that they need new bodies. It doesn't necessarily mean that projects are about to be signed as such, but at least they feel comfortable about the increased outlay. I wonder how long the other potential recruits might remain available? I don't suppose the jobs market is in rude health, but if they are smart hires they might have been hired by someone else. | lavalmy
22/12/2020 10:36 | Thank you 33mick. Very interesting. I assume the contract/s not yet signed because that surely would be market sensitive information that the company is dutybound to report to the market. | yumyum

20/12/2020 21:26 | I read somewhere that AIM IHT benefits were under review by Sunak | pinkfoot2
19/12/2020 22:39 | Some investors buy AIM listed stocks because of their IHT exemption status. I note another AIM stock, IMI mobile is about to disappear to a US company. Shareholders can maintain their IHT status if they reinvest the proceeds (£488 million) in other AIM stocks. Very few companies are listing on AIM and there is a limited number of AIM stocks to act as good homes for this money. | countryman5
18/12/2020 11:59 | Maybe a small leak - they seem to have issued £2,025,000 of new debt via the loan note programme, at 8% due 14th December 2022. This is down from 10% for the tranche in April, for one year money. They will have had a presentation of sorts to make, so that might have attracted some equity interest. Well done anyway for getting it away. | lavalmy
18/12/2020 11:43 | Fri lunchtime - more likely they've been tipped again. | fredfishcake
18/12/2020 11:25 | good news coming ?? | 9degrees
08/12/2020 07:14 | They have redeemed the first issue of loan notes, as per. | lavalmy
07/12/2020 17:06 | Wish you hadn't told me that! I never really looked at it as an investment, and on the releases I've seen I'm not inclined to change that view. But they do seem to have woken from a long sleep recently so maybe it's time for a closer look. | supernumerary
07/12/2020 16:56 | Super It has six or seven bagged since you last mentioned it, to $2.65. 2vdm is lucky he is not a LTH. They were over $3,000 in 2007. Ouch. | lavalmy
07/12/2020 16:47 | contracts are imminent!! Anyway isn't the share price 42p? | hjb1
07/12/2020 16:44 | sp movement is becoming very frustrating, back down to 41p at the close. Any thoughts as to when these "imminent" contracts might be signed. A frustrated very LTH! | 2vdm
07/12/2020 16:12 | Another interesting one from Ocean Power - seems to be a sort of autonomous monitoring aton, off the coast of Chile: | supernumerary
07/12/2020 15:35 | I was worried for a minute. | yumyum
07/12/2020 15:07 | there you go, a bit of normality returns! | hjb1
07/12/2020 12:33 | I came across what for me was a new fact yesterday in a serious academic tome dealing with other things. And it is that 85% of the marine biomass is to be found in the waters overlying continental shelves. Of course, continental shelves are not identical with EEZ's but there is an enormous overlap. So in terms of fishery management, the high seas are of marginal relevance. Much more important are the waters in the EEZ, a fair chunk of which, up to 50 miles, can be monitored from the land, as well as clearly belonging to a particular country, South China Sea notwithstanding. And it is that market that SRT seem to really be targeting rather than the long distance VMS stuff. | lavalmy
04/12/2020 12:24 | Hi all, Requirement : .."leads to a £100,000 investment or order.." Surely (Shirley) can't be that difficult to rustle up for a company with a VSP of £ 550m, I'd have thought ! I hold, for the avoidance of doubt ;-> ATB | extrader
03/12/2020 18:38 | yump - A close inspection of the chart shows that a surge to 55p should be imminent (:-,) | boadicea
03/12/2020 17:42 | Goodapple Did they say what happens if the deal turns out to be imminent? | lavalmy
03/12/2020 17:37 | From the BBC: Quarantine rules are set to be eased for business travellers in England. The rules will be relaxed for top bosses of foreign multinational firms visiting English branches and bosses at firms planning to invest. Returning executives will also be exempt from quarantine. In each case, the business trips must result in a deal which creates or preserves 50 jobs or leads to a £100,000 investment or order, according to the Department for Transport. The move was announced in a tweet by Transport Secretary Grant Shapps. ............. | goodapple
03/12/2020 14:18 | What would be nice is if it followed trendlines from March to getvto 55p area and then there was an announcement. That would improve Christmas. | yump
01/12/2020 17:07 | Could there be an announcement re contract signing imminent? (For how long have we had this very thought?) | goodapple |
