16/4/2015 16:31 | Westhouse; Sprue Aegis –new non-executive director We view positively the news that John Shepherd has been appointed a non-executive director with immediate effect. John most recently was chief executive of Synectics, where he oversaw a substantial improvement in profitability between 2008 and 2013 and previously had been responsible for delivering strong growth at First Technology and a division of Smiths Industries. When Sprue moved to AIM last year it committed to splitting the role of chairman and chief executive and of bringing a new non-executive on board, both of which have now been achieved. Final results for 2014 are due to be released on Monday 27 April, ahead of which we maintain our 400p target price and Buy rating. | davebowler
10/4/2015 11:41 | A few nervious nellies around here, I see, prior to release of Final Results which, going by last year, could well be next week. Regardless of the euro weakness, it's worth re-reading the last two trading updates... Trading Update (20/11/14) - Trading Update & Product/Technology Update (19/1/15) - Expect SPRP to be much closer to 400p within the next 3-6 months. Aimho. | speedsgh
10/4/2015 08:12 | Because it was the closing UT trade (the uncrossing trade in the closing auction) which sets the official closing price. Smacks of price manipulation. | glaws2
10/4/2015 08:07 | How can a trade of one share knock the price down over 4% | az4hr
10/4/2015 07:03 | The closing price was artificially low -with a UT trade of a single share bringing the price down. It ought to correct on opening. | glaws2
09/4/2015 17:51 | All a bit weird. No news that justifies this sort of volatility. I am just going to ride it out and add if the price dips any further. | james188

30/3/2015 10:38 | Westhouse; Sprue Aegis: Trading Up Sprue Aegis’s January trading statement confirmed it had continued to perform ahead of market expectations on the back of strong European sales momentum. While the launch of a new UK trade range should help maintain sales, with a significant proportion generated in euros, 2015 profits are currently facing a currency headwind. We look forward to meeting new CEO, Neil Smith, when results are published in April. Our rating is Buy and our target price is 400p. | davebowler
