Don't think we can grumble about today's move. Nothing goes up in a straight line. Let's keep the faith gentlemen .

The share price chart says it all. all it needed was a dose of Viagra . obviously 100mg. Previously the effect of the drinking sessions had resulted in alcohol droop but the court case was the turning point .the question is how long will it last and how high will it go.?

£4 was my exit price but what news is in the offing to stop the rise? AGM in September is the next event so, barring any negative press, what is to hold this back?

Profit forecast increase from 115m to 131m.

As expected, forecasts start to tick up and £4 is a breeze.

The surprising thing is it's not being controlled. How many shares did spd take out of the float during the buyback? Lower float and if people start picking up shares it could take off, thing is I don't believe MA has yet pulled any of those levers I previously wrote about.

a costly business betting against Mike Ashley.
Corbyn hates everything he stands for, that is a strong buy signal.

According to Euroclear the market was 53 million shares short in June.

I am sure that all those 53 million will not have been completely bought back yet.

And not doubt ....a few 'clever people' will have gone short on this very bounce.

Perhaps forgetting that shorting good news (or at the very least benign news) is perhaps not a very clever thing to do.

The share is moving on news isn't it...

Aquisitions, turnover up, lots of cash flow and a PR win for Mike Ashley at last. Good news. The share is moving on good news.

SPD Was priced for 'lights out' ... well clearly not.

No surprises here. Mike being everyone's bogey man has given those that were paying attention and brave enough a nice buy opportunity at a reasonably appropriate juncture.

Sentiment has shifted as is shown by the huge volumes at the bottom of the chart. Long way to go on these.

Ramping Time....

In a statement after the ruling Mr Ashley said: "The only reason the Sports Direct share price exceeded £8, and will hopefully do so again, is because of the sterling efforts of all the people who work at Sports Direct."

That's what I should have done Festario. Trading them over the last months would have a far less stressful option.

I've just sold 10/- and will try and run 40/- ... I can see them going higher but I've got to be realistic after such a large move.

She'll suit... ha ha..Nortic, I traded this several times between 280p and 300p, so made a few quid. But I wasn't in when the re-rate came unfortunately, I never expected it really. It showed no signs.
