I've just had a text from SPD wishing me a happy Xmas and hoping all my dreams come true. I've just responded £2 on the share price would do nicely :)

I had some spare time today to look more closely at SPD's interim report and compare it with JD sports. In the last 6 months, SPD had operating cash flow of £205m. Assuming they make the same amount in the next 6 months, this would give a total cash flow of £410m into the business. SPD market cap is £1.6B. £1.6b / 410m = 3.9 price to OCFJd sports had operating cash flow of £60m in the last 6 months. Assuming they bring in the same amount in the next 6 months then their cash flow would be £120m.Jd market cap is £3B.£3b / 120m = 25 price to OCF

Quick trip to Oxford Street store and Ken. HS...both packed and appeared to be busier than usual...last minute buys but I do believe that more people have shopped on line before Christmas rush. People are now just desperate to get an item to hand for a gift, I guess.
