15/12/2016 16:09 | Canaccord 160p target won't have helped. | philo124
15/12/2016 15:37 | At £1250 a point these things have aged me. | nortic 007
15/12/2016 15:16 | I just made a call so that's what I've heard. | nortic 007

15/12/2016 15:07 | I just think they are incredibly cheap, like GVC and PTEC were yesterday, it happens you know! | festario
15/12/2016 15:06 | Something must be coming out. Maybe another profit warning. They say they come in 3's. | nortic 007

15/12/2016 13:32 | DD, If not JD Sports, who would you compare Sports Direct with?. | unnavailable
15/12/2016 13:18 | The drop in profits is more about the currency fluctuation and the fact he got stung trying to play the market. All this will sort itself out long term imo. The pound has strengthened nearly 10% over the last month already. The strength of the dollar is the real killer but trump wants to increase exports so he will look to weaken the dollar next year. He has frequently blamed China for currency manipulation to stop exporters being competitive, he will work on this next year for sure. The underlying business is still strong. | terminated
15/12/2016 13:18 | Must say DD coming around to that way of thinking. But might have to stick to my strategy . I know there's some bear raiders out there because I know a lot of people in the city. I'd be interested to see if they ever get to 250 that could create some interest from MA but who knows. | nortic 007
15/12/2016 13:05 | NorticDon't know with this one anymore, only looks cheap to me based on NTAV, from underlying business it's 270 all day long IMO.Don't compare with JD, completely different, they are growing earnings, SPD are not - may do though in s couple of years but who knows....MA too much of a lose cannon atm.DD | discodave4
15/12/2016 11:59 | These are now a long term play, bobbing up and down between the 270-310 range is to be expected. I'm going to keep buying below 280 if I can get them and sit on them for 6-12 months. If nothing else once he restarts the stock repurchase scheme these should go over £3 pretty quickly. | terminated
15/12/2016 10:07 | Given up and sold. Taken the hit. | philo124
15/12/2016 08:28 | JD down 3.5% and SPD up 1.5% maybe some people are beginning to wake up. | nortic 007
15/12/2016 08:26 | Fear has got SPD's p/e well below 10 and greed has got JD above 30 in recents times. Irrational trading in my view is never a good recipe . | nortic 007
15/12/2016 08:18 | DD You were saying 270 and you might be correct. But they are starting to look dirt cheap . | nortic 007
15/12/2016 08:14 | This is relentless . | nortic 007
15/12/2016 07:33 | Lets see if Ashley buys distressed jd stock... :-) | whites123 |
