I heard you were the guy on parliament building, yesterday.

I am not sure what going to court will be, all it is an injunction. I imagine the hatton warren case will actually get sorted out by an arbitraitor

FrankB,, If you're so sure that SOP is going down (& quite frankly you could be right as most of us are in SOP on speculation only) do you have any companies that you know will definately go up ? go on make yourself useful and give us some useful info instead of practising at being a one trick pony !

WARREN SEEKS HATTON INJUNCTION!
Iain Axon 27 Sep 2005

Frank Warren today began injunctive proceedings against Ricky Hatton in a bid to prevent him fighting WBA light-welterweight champion Carlos Maussa on November 26.

Warren and Sports Network insist IBF light-welterweight champion Hatton is under contract for a further three fights.

But the Hitman has signed to fight Colombian Maussa at the Sheffield Arena on a non Sports Network - a showdown Warren will attempt to stop at the High Court on Monday.

"Sports Network Ltd have today applied for an interim injunction restraining Ricky Hatton from fighting with any other promoter," said Warren's solicitor Robert Campbell.

"That application will be heard at the High Court in London on Monday October 3."

Warren added: "I'm very sorry that it has come to this situation and what I have done, I have done with great reluctance.

"But I am determined to protect Sports Network's contractual position and ensure Ricky Hatton fulfils his obligations."

THe itv deal is kept privy, so if there would be adjustment, it would be impossible to find out.
Anyhow, I heard from a valid source that itv are delighted with current viewing figures, so even if!!!!!!!!!! hatton doesnt fight for sop, I doubt there will be an adjustment.

Boxers you have never heard of, growing everyday.

Ross "The Boss" Minter put the disappointment of missing out on headlining the charity DebRA at London's Park Lane Hilton Hotel card with a classy third round stoppage of Sammy Smith.

Minter, defending his Southern Area welterweight title for the first time, was simply too big and too strong for his out-gunned opponent.

Since switching to Johnny Eames' TKO training camp, Minter has developed considerable power to match his undoubted skills.

They were supposed to be rewarded with a crack at Matthew Hatton for the English welterweight title on the DebRA show.

But with Hatton pulling out because of his brother's dispute with Frank Warren, Minter was left fighting further down the card then he first expected.

He certainly didn't let the switch affect him though, out-muscling Smith to suggest that claims he will soon be fighting for the British title are not a pipe-dream.

Overcoming a bad cut to his left eye, Minter dropped Smith with an overhand right towards the end of the second.

In the next he stopped Smith on his feet, referee Marcus McDonnell deciding he had seen enough.

Minter now moves to 14-1-1, with six wins inside the distance.

New talent

Iain Axon 24 Sep 2005
Kevin Mitchell showed the kind of form that swept him to the ABA featherweight title two years ago as he stopped Wladimir Borov in two rounds on the DebRA charity card at London's Park Lane Hilton Hotel.

Mitchell, who has been plagued by a knuckle injury in recent months, looked somewhere near his best as he destroyed the Bulgarian.

After breaking him down in the first, a sweeping left uppercut dropped Borov heavily in the next, and referee Mark Green decided he had seen enough at 1'35 of the round.

And happily for Mitchell, the reports coming from his dressing room after the fight was that there had been no reaction to the knuckle injury.

He is now scheduled to fight again on November 5 in Glasgow, and is also poised to have a "test" in December.

With the win against Borov, his 10th inside the distance, Mitchell moves to 15-0.

The Dagenham fight also removed doubts about his fluctuating weight, comfortably making nine-stone five pounds, just outside the super-featherweight limit.

That division is where his future appears to lie, and a title shot is not too far away.

Not sure of Franks connection to SOP (or past connection) or his possible connection to the Hatton camp but he sure has an axe to grind against Frank Warren and SOP. For someone who has no interest in SOP long or short he seems to spend an unhealthy amount of time tearing this company to bits.

Incidently, I drove past a caravan site the other day (in my Jag) and saw some rather shabby looking caravans with a guy seemly sat at a laptop laughing away to himself. Get a life Frank, and some fresh air, surely there are much better things to do with your time. You may wake up one morning and find those caravans have fallen into total disrepair.
