06/5/2021 21:43 | Given Stockopedia has a zero forecast profit for 2023, the rankings are completely wrong. | shanklin
06/5/2021 17:57 | A quick response from Stockopedia! The StockRanks do move around a bit. It looks like with Spectra right now the reason for this is the Momentum Rank, so weaker share price momentum, rather than any news flow regarding the company. In fact the company itself has been buying back shares and announcing new contract wins. .................... I'll reach out to someone in data to get a bit more information on the Broker forecast and will get back to you on that point. All the best, | pj 1
06/5/2021 17:20 | Is that another buy back? 70k? | pj 1
06/5/2021 17:16 | nico, I cant believe 2021 forecasts will be 50% too low? | pj 1
06/5/2021 17:11 | If you believe stockopedia forecasts sell out They look at least 50pct too low He should be sacked | nico115
06/5/2021 16:44 | I recall Stockopedia have had a few recommendations for this stock over the last 6 months, based on its stockrank scoring system. I therefore wonder if some of the recent selling is investors following this system, as the over all Stock rank has fallen to a close to mundane 70 from a high 80's, and add on the enigma that Stockopedia also shows we have had a 2021 eps cut from 12.2 to 11.8c, which is also frowned upon by its system. SPSY doesn't currently look all that impressive via Stockopedia, certainly not as good as it looked 6 months ago. edit. I have emailed Stockopedia requesting if the original authors will review SPSY against its current ranking. | pj 1
06/5/2021 16:02 | Hi Shanklin, "Anyway good to see the buyback. At least any seller in size knows SPSY will in all probablity pay £1.735 for their shares." I'm not to sure if any seller would have got £1.735 today I bought at £1.7034 and £1.7244 today and £1.729 yesterday, it will definetley put a bottom in the market though. 3800 | 3800
06/5/2021 15:16 | boonkoh, No idea how buybacks create liquity. Indeed, they reduce liquidity. Anyway good to see the buyback. At least any seller in size knows SPSY will in all probablity pay £1.735 for their shares. | shanklin
06/5/2021 15:07 | Looks like the big volume yesterday were a result of buybacks!Looks like Nabil signalling 173p or thereabouts is a floor value :) | boonkoh
06/5/2021 11:08 | Crack on then :) | harrogate
06/5/2021 10:59 | Liquidity just so terrible. 100k of sell volumes enough to tank the share price.Really need a consistent buyback to create more liquidity in the market. | boonkoh
05/5/2021 16:12 | I'm happy to be patient | nico115
05/5/2021 15:51 | Looks to me the chart is set for a breakout to upside possibly. Ascending triangle formation with resistance at around 191p. | shakeypremis
05/5/2021 15:50 | Some sort of buyback today? | ntv
05/5/2021 15:44 | I've reduced my holding here, all is just too slow for my liking.. | wanttowin
05/5/2021 14:24 | More PR? There has to be a risk that Nabils new found love of being in front of the camera is a front for a lack of future growth or contract news. Less PR. More forecasts! | pj 1
05/5/2021 14:10 | Definitely need some more PR for this company among small cap investment funds. They only have a few on board : Mr. and Mrs. N. Slater 4,666,985 10.24 Close Asset Management Limited 4,610,868 10.12 Sandon Capital 4,255,000 9.34 Herald Investment Management Ltd. 2,929,300 6.43 Castellina Ventures Limited 2,370,573 5.20 O. 05/5/2021 13:58 | Looks like stuck in a range unless new contract or trading update / results.Frustrating. | boonkoh
30/4/2021 10:14 | All a bit confusing why the share buyback isn’t being implemented. Nomad maybe blocking it due to future deals- that’s why if possible it should be delegated to a 3rd party. On the broker side I saw mention of finnCap which would be a step up from WH Ireland. They do however have a reputation for being focused on capital raisings and not bothered about the after market. Considering SPSY’s current situation I’m not sure they are the solution. I used to think Cenkos had a good growth companies team- not sure what they are like these days. | chillpill
29/4/2021 15:15 | Company should put in a bid at 170p. I'd support that if it was to buy back stock. | shakeypremis
29/4/2021 14:46 | Just 25k available to buy online at 183.5p, so maybe not enough to warrant a buyback | shanklin
22/4/2021 08:50 | Topped up again. Unexpected to get this price offered after 2 days of good financial news | fegger |
