We always do our best to get every question answered even if they appear on our website a couple of days later and they can be copied to here of course.

SPSY is by far the most illiquid share in my PF and watch list.

Off course psychology dictates we only usually mention illiquidity when a share price is falling. When the share price is rising quickly its never down to illiquidity is it, its always down to all our own investing brilliance!!!

Slarty,

Thank you for the correct context. Unfortunately, when a company refuses to engage directly, or via WHI it is difficult to accurately assess the strategic options the company has discussed, we only know the executed plan. IMHO, the share buyback is a waste of company assets, or should I say shareholder funds.

Again, IMHO, there are too many trades of less than 20k that have an exaggerated effect on the share price. To argue this is liquid is pure folly. Moreover, to argue it's "one of the most liquid shares on aim" is just plain wrong. SPSY must be one of the most illiquid companies in its market value class. This can only become more illiquid with each buyback without a larger holder selling.

Btw, when was the last concerted buying by the board? If the CEO and presumably the board think the shares are cheap, why are they not filling their boots.

IMHO investors may chose the alternative direct rival over SPSY given the share price

Why do you always turn so defensive and childish when we are having a debate??

As someone who has repetitively claimed on this Board that SPSY is worth north of £10 per share, why are you not on the war path with the CEO who says its worth ''just'' £2.40?

IMO the forward P/E is not high, especially given that forecasts are known to be on the low side.

===================================================================================
Last year they beat ''significantly'' which resulted in +11% to the original forecasts. Hardly what was at fist expected by investors here

We are now almost 6 months through the year and no ahead statement, so you may well find they (forecasts)are NOT on the low side. That's what the Market is pricing in imo

The p/e is high for the forecasts growth

What we need is positive news flow and ahead statements, which is the best way to maintain the high p/e ratio here.

I suspect the lack of news on Aeris (did he suggest aa Aeris sales would be H1, or have I imagined that??

The failure to convert the Asian Bank contract last year brought home a few home truths I believe, that Nabil doesn't walk on water

ref Mello. I'd like to know his motivation behind claiming the stock is worth 240p. Was that said knowing full well there was a lack of future short term news flow?

It's always a red flag when CEO start talking about the share price.

Let's agree to disagree I've held for a few years now and had plenty of chances to sell decent size (or buy )One of the most liquid shares on aimBuyback is a fabulous value creation as we have so much cash We can all own a bigger percentage of the pie

Rubbish. How often has the shares lost 5%/or more in less than 20k traded? Plenty of times since I've had my little lot. Sure there will be windows you speak of when you can is those numbers, but those windows are few.

Can one if you mello crew ask the company about the share by back. Elric of https://www.smallcompanychampion.uk/?m=1 has been critical of buy back. He argues the shares are already very illiquid, making them more so will not help volatility. He has been proven correct. The other argument is suggested shareholder cash could be better be used as dividends or growth.

As a nice Mello bonus.....If you would like to attend as a shareholder then you can register for the event using code SHVIP for 75% off tickets.

Just to let you all know there are already 263 registered in for this event so it should be a 500 plus event and very good opportunity for Nabil and Spectra

Here is the link to the Mello Monday show in ten days time

Nice pic of Nabil and lots of info plus the Stockopedia Stock report. The interview will be about 40 mins so will include a lot of questions so do put any here as mentioned. The audience is usually 500 plus so there will be quite a few on the night too.

Which imho works vs us.To not have any G7 contract in the forecasts is criminal 50m lol

The reason SPSY estimates are low-ball is because nabil won't let WHI include anything that has not been contracted/agreed. Even if it is 80% expected, you won't see it in the estimates. That explains why there are numerous broker upgrades during the year as contracts that we assume will be signed are signed. And it also explains why next year's forecasts are always lower than this year's as nabil doesn't allow expected contracts to be in the estimates until they are signed (at which point they are no longer an estimate !).

For me just seeing a group of other investors asking questions and what they are concerned about is actually the best way to learn about a company and make sure you've considered all the risks
